As speculated, Nick is seeing Shawn as himself a year ago - overconfident.
Difference is that Shawn being overconfident still worked for him

I am hoping she did not sleep with Nick again, I am losing respect for her a little at a time.

My husband just said that Nick is a d*ck. there is something about him that conflict seems to surround him.

He doesn't feel okay at all. But I think this is because of last year and his overconfidence. So he is confused because he was overconfident last year and had all the "signs" he was the one and he wasn't so now when the signs are not there he probably takes that a positive this time around. jmo
