That article actually seems pretty legit to me. I always felt like the promo was misleading and Shawn doesn't actually find out about the sex yet.

This is such a mess!!! Kaitlyn is a goldmine lead for them. I can't believe they even ever considered Britt.

No, but the BacheloretteABC now has a snapchat.
The whole show takes place on Social Media now and TPTB are just trying to catch up.
As much "credit" is given to TPTB I think Social Media moves too fast for this show and the people that produce it and even they are now behind the times.

I can't wait to watch Monday's show to see how this all plays out. I hope it isn't as bad as it seems. As it is now, I'm going to have to wear a bag on my head to watch it in my own house.

They probably never did really consider Britt. They knew who they had in Kaitlyn and they knew she had a "relationship" with Nick from before filming, and they knew what they had with Nick also. How could they pass that up for Britt? IMO it was a foregone conclusion and the "two bachelorettes" was just a charade / side show to the main event.

It's more on par with 'fiance stuff.' He's a wordsmith, that's for sure.

K obviously thought whatever he muttered was a great idea!

Alanna -- In all fairness, K had already "fallen for" all of his other lines to invite him to her suite

I just think whatever they may edit for us to see -- K's actions very clearly indicate that she was not sold on anyone at this time in the show even if she had said she was "falling in love"

Just consider it from the gemini perspective -- gemini's sometimes, apparently, don't do well with partners who won't let them be free spirits. the article says Shawn doesn't like "sharing" her well let's hope that's the edit cos if Shawn is feeling insecure about her connection with him only after a group date when someone else gets a rose ...it's gonna be a crazy rollercoaster for him when it's so early in the game and she's in a show where her job is to date multiple people

I don't find the sex outrageous -- it's no different than FS and with less feelings involved actually. I just don't see how shawn could be cool with it but now I realize that though he and the show are putting him as frontrunner that's not set in stone or even true for K based on her actions at this point in the show...through her action K is expressing that she cares more about being intimate with Nick than working and living within the rules and expectations set by shawn

There is a reason there was a song called "Torn between Two Lovers".   This situation is not an uncommon one in the real world and I bet that many on this board, especially if they did not marry early, have been in that situation at some point.  There is more than one way to be intimate and sex is the least of it.  People say all sorts of phrases in the heat of the moment, so I do not think Kaitlyn fell for any phrase; they were already intent on doing the deed by that point.  However, both of them wearing the mike makes me wonder if any of this is producer manufactured.

Um, so if a guy can make one forget about another guy one told one was falling in love with, maybe one wasn't falling in love at all.... or even if so, it's not exactly a big enough deal.
Producer driven, whatever, I just don't believe it was ever going to be allowed for Nick to be F1. They had their storyboard F1-contestant already and they needed someone who hadn't been there to see K&S's connection so that the F2 would be blindsided at the end.

Well of course he would. He came on week 4, didn't know any of the other guys or their connections with K, and that alone would make him feel confident that Kaitlyn likes him enough to risk angering the other guys.
Kaitlyn then sleeps with him despite "falling in love" with some other guy and then she likely sleeps with him again in FS, takes him to F2, etc. That's just misleading at that point, producer driven or not, not just for Nick but for Shawn if she really was so in love with him (and yes, aware that misleading is just par for the course).
