1. Sex sells! TPTB care only about ratings and money.
2. RS is insane and egotistical. "He is glad HE figured it out 5 weeks before the finale?" What??!!

I suspect that unfortunately, ever since media coverage exploded when Nick confronted Andi about sex, the producers gleefully decided to take advantage of Kaitlyn's wild child persona, and instead of only insinuating sexual activity, as they have done in seasons past, this time they are laying it all out on the table.  MF has stated he likes to highlight real life relationship problems and mishaps on the show, so I guess this is the season where we are going to have a full scale debate about sex and monogamy.

So cringeworthy, really on par with those ignoramuses teaching innocent children about sex earlier this season. I know they were child actors but they were still children, yes? 

I like what I've seen of this couple, but I'm thinking after about 101 interviews discussing Nick Sex, they're going to be meeting doomsday.

I'm probably more pissed at Kaitlyn than Shawn is/was because 1) he could have been the Bach OR 2) she actually could have an adorable love story. But no, now I'll have to watch Josh Murray barking and woofing for 10 weeks AND they're going to be dunzo by the premiere anyway.

It feels set up behind her back kinda. In what universe would the producers LET Nick into Kait's room and not bother to film it. This has always been so hard for me to believe, not Kait and some boring, gone by week 2 guy, but freaking NICK.

They probably gave her the idea and after a day of all-day day-drinking, she said she wanted to take him back and "see what happens." Oh my gosh, what might happen?! I just cannot even guess!

Thanks Alanna about bringing up about the scene with the school children . I thought that date was the worst I do not care either that the children were actors it was totally inappropriate . They are still children and for them to hear the things they did made me sick.

Bit of a change in topic, but I guess Kaitlyn isn't doing her snapchat recaps anymore?

I won't be surprised if Kaitlyn and Shawn were intimate in San Antonio. They were so attracted to each other night one and then didn't get a date until episode 5. I think much of their time has been cut due to the over-the-top chemistry.

I am also not surprised Kaitlyn and Nick would be intimate in Dublin. It seems the extent of their communications pre season would allow for them to become very close, very quickly. Maybe they hadn't met, but their relationship was already intimate. As well as two people can know each other without having met.

Kaitlyn may have well decided in her head on night one that Shawn would be her F1 of that group. That doesn't mean she knew she would marry him.

I think when Nick arrived, she realized she couldn't say for sure in her own mind that Nick was not the guy she would marry. In my own humble opinion, when a gal is feeling ready to marry, she allows her relationships to continue progressing (any way she sees fit) until deciding this is not the guy she will marry. Then she moves on.

If Kaitlyn has more than one relationship that continues to progress until she reaches this conclusion, IMO, that if far more realistic and may even increase her chances of a successful relationship out in the real world.

It seems some expect Kaitlyn to know already at this stage of the season who is the love of her life. I'm quite happy she seems to be still making up her mind. If we remove any personal feelings about the physical part of the intimacy, I for one think it's great Kaitlyn will have at least 2 very intimate relationships to explore. So often I feel at the end the couples don't even really know each other.

I think Kaitlyn having 2 serious relationships already with half the season remaining just ups her chances of making the decision best for her in the end.

JMO, but I don't think Kaitlyn would have been intimate with anyone but Shawn if Nick hadn't joined the season. I have no problem whatsoever believing Kaitlyn is falling for both Shawn and Nick up until she decides one of them is NOT her future husband, and not necessarily that one of them is.

K got the case of the "what ifs" .... It might be best that she did sample Nick before committing to someone else long term. It's not best for her reputation or her F1, but it is a more realistic-life scenario for most near-30 year old modern and progressive women. A number of leads do the deed with their F2 & even F3, but usually wait until no-camera FS.

:I agree:I always think this is the reason why they wanted Kaitlyn as the lead this season! She doesn't seem to care how they edit her, care much less about public know she has sex during film, so perfect lead in a perfect timing!

They tried Barbie (Emily), Cinderella (Des), Professional Women (Ash, Andi), so they want a wild child to test the audience's limit.

I'll say it again, imo having sex at this stage is a lot more acceptable than multiple partners during FS esp when you are in a matter of days going to start spewing ILY right and left...oh and add an engagement ring to that scenario. I had no idea...I'm naive, obviously ....until recently so many had multiple sexcapades just before FRC. So obviously, the real relationship begins when the cameras disappear.
