It might be possible (in this reversal of roles), that Kaitlyn herself wanted to wait until the privacy of FS with Shawn out of respect for him.

I don't even believe that S/K haven't had sex...I still think that Lewinsky-like sexual activity happened when Ben was in the shower. I also don't really see how sex in the FS is more respectful than sex after a date?

In the sense that tptb usually don't air what happens after doors are closed in the FS, which spares friends and family viewing the episode from the visuals/noises/TMI. So that could be viewed as more respectful possibly.

I wouldn't judge them or blame them if they did get frisky beforehand though.

I think they've had sex also. Their body language is just so intimate and familiar for them not to have had sex imo. I guess their bond can just be that strong naturally but most likely, they've already hooked up in one of Shawn's special 1:1 times that we're randomly finding out about as the show goes along. Sounds like she would shoot a date and then go visit him off hours for some special reassurance

To be fair, this was the first time that they have done such a porn-like showing of pre-FS sex on the show. Kaitlyn even said recently that she didn't know if sex with Nick would make it on air or become such a big storyline, so I don't think that any of them could have predicted it. Most of the guys don't watch the show except for Kaitlyn's and Kaitlyn herself has said that she's watched on and off, but it was mostly all new to her. I don't think that either S or K would have been savvy enough to know that pre-FS sex would be such a big deal on air.

What I'm confused about is if K had pre-FS with both Nick AND Shawn, why does it appear (in the edit) that she is only concerned about Shawn and the other finding out about the Nick sex, but there has been no mention of pre-FS sex with Shawn or concern over such.
Is it because K knew Nick sex was on cam and Shawn sex (alleged) was not?

For me it doesn't matter either way although don't believe it happened, especially while Ben was away for such a short time. It would have been easy for Kaitlyn to sneak Shawn up in her room if that's what she wanted.

I don't think it is that easy...everyone has said how crazy it was that Kaitlyn was able to sneak off without producer permission to see Ben and Shawn. If she wanted to have sex with Shawn, she would have to ask permission and they might say no (especially, if they want to make Kaitlyn keep on feeling guilty about Nicn sex).

I think she is really only concerned about Shawn and his feelings. Thus she wouldn't care who found out about sex with Shawn if, indeed, they actually did have pre-FS sex which I am not sure about.
