The Bachelorette 11 - Kaitlyn Bristowe - *NO SPOILERS* - FRC Ended - Now Contains Spoilers - Discussion

Yes, sparkler.  I can't remember that there was ever a Bachelorette lead I couldn't root for.  Even if I didn't really like them, I've always watched and rooted for them to find love.  TPTB usually managed to build a story of romance in interesting locales between all the trashy drama.  Not this time.  

Maybe it's the storyboard "cliffhanger" carry over to the next episode.  Zzzzzzz. It just kills my need to watch the following week.  Give me my men crying in limo exits at the end of every episode please.

Aw Katie - stay strong!  I know you feel alone over here, but it's great to hear someone's thoughts unfiltered by spoilers.  

Do you have any thoughts about F1?  And any thoughts next Bachelor?  The only one I might tune in for next season is Ben H.  If it's Shawn, Jared or Nick, I will skip it.  I just don't think they've built enough storyline for anyone else from this season.

AlwaysTulips - yes I was feeling lonely and it was so great to get everyone's support. I am going to try and stay unspoiled to the end. It might actually be easier for me as I'm on the other side of the world and not bombarded with SM and stories about the show in the media.

I'm working today so won't get to see the latest episode until late night. So my latest guess is this F1 - Nick (mainly bc she slept with him and she wouldn't do that if she wasn't pretty serious about him?), F2 - Jared and F3 Shawn.

Might change my mind after tonight's episode. If I was choosing I'd pick the Bens as my top two. Both gorgeous!

I'll be interested in what you think after tonight.  Something big goes down with Chris, because he has a huge crying scene in the preview.  Unless that's from another week?

Hope we get to see the 2-1 with Joe and JJ tonight.  I think I might finally get to laugh once on this show!

Ok - so only half way through the episode - but I just had to say a few things.

First off - I've lost all respect for Kaitlyn. You can't tell a guy that he's her number 1 when there are still another 7 guys in the competition! No wonder Shawn's acting like a bit of a love sick looney. I actually feel sorry for him.

She needs to be more respectful and understanding about all the guys feelings and realise that this journey is not just about her and what she wants and that there are other parties involved. If she wants a successful relationship at the end of this she needs to be, IMO, less self absorbed.

Big props to Nick and the way he is handling the situation. I'm so glad he is showing maturity by not saying anything. I'm still TeamNick.

Also - still love Ben H - if he doesn't win he should definitely be the next Bachelor! I'd be glued to the screen.

Well - I'm off to watch the 2nd half

Well - not overly surprised to see Chris go - I certainly didn't see the connection that he thought they had. Straight after she told him I thought ok he's handling this with maturity and then it went downhill - he started sobbing like a baby and I was yelling at the screen "pull yourself together man - you're embarrassing yourself!"

It actually looked a little over acted.

I think that Joe and JJ will be the next to go and I really can't pick the final three from the last four.

Its sad but I'm almost at the stage where I don't want any of the guys to win because they are all so nice and she doesn't deserve any of them. IMO, whoever she ends up with is going to be in for a bumpy relationship with her.

Here are a few of my thoughts:

- Ben H has a child and I don't think he would have the time or energy to deal with all the drama she creates. Plus he's young.

- Jared seems very easy going and down to earth and could be reasonably tolerant with her behaviour. He is quite young though and might not be ready to settle down. She does seem to pick him a lot though.

- Shawn is a bit a drama king himself so they could have a passionate relationship but I'd imagine that there would be a few ups and downs. He's also quite intense and she is more free spirited. Not sure how that would work in the long run.

- Nick is probably my pick for F1 at this stage. He's the only one she's been intimate with and she brought him in for a reason. To me he comes across as a really cool guy (remember I never saw Andi's season) and I think they are the most compatible in terms of personality. They both like to joke around and have a laugh.

BUT this could all change next week after I see the guys' reactions to the news that she slept with Nick. Should be interesting!

Oops - Just realised that JJ has already gone - he was never really on my radar. So Joe next then maybe Ben H? I just can't pick it until I see next week's episode and see their reactions to NaughtieswithNickgate.
