Yes, malpractice insurance is expensive; it is more expensive for some specialties than others.  This is why many OB/GYN's have given up on the OB part of their practice.  Certain specialties carry more risk; therefore the premium for the malpractice insurance is higher.

As for Davina becoming a pharmacist, I don't know anything about her education, but I do recall pharmacy school is either 4 or 5 years.  You can't just "become a pharmacist."  In addition to the schooling, you need to pass the State boards to practice.  I am sure no 45 year old person is going to go through that unless it is a financial necessity and/or the person is extremely driven.

Pharmacy school is 3-4 years, and the field now is FLOODED with pharmacists. Now Pharmacies want YOUNG people so they can work for half the salary. Cuts, cuts, cuts, as the insurance reimbursements are less. I have a family member who is a pharmacist....

yes, that may be true initially. I think Davina initially had a problem with how she approached her unrealistic expectation for her new husband to drive 2 hours back and forth to work, work a 12 hour shift. Her initial reaction and unwillingness to locate somewhere that might make it easier for Sean. Granted she did say she would not relocate at all. Sean reached out to Dr. C and asked for advice....I think Dr. C advice was not to worry about it now and try to develop the relationship. Throughout the process Davina definitely stuck to her guns which was the decision that made that relationship not work. I am not sure if Sean worked on any weekends and if she had an opportunity to go to Jersey, it looks by the sound of things that she never did. She never budged from her initial stance. Sean deserved better. He probably said to himself okay, this is the situation I expressed to her how difficult this was and what did he get back " you were not honest with yourself". I think I would hit the pavement at that point.

Also, Sean tells her he got a promotion...do we hear Davina say "aw that is great honey, congrats!"...no we hear more Davina babble.

Let's face it, life often deals people a bad situation, it is how you work through it. Davina was never a partner, she had a shopping list that was not fulfilled. She is 35 years old and the older you get the less options you have to find happiness. She has her job, and an apartment in Manhattan and nothing else really except a gay guy who is her best friend. They should have set Davina up with the initial match...the financial Manhattan guy who liked rough sex. Dr. Pepper didn't think she could do that to Davina...but I think he would have been perfect.

I think what her and her friend Chris had done with social media speaks volumes. Happiness is not a job, or where your friends, it is your family and Davina is denying herself an opportunity to have one because of her shopping list. I think on social media she even said something to the experts like"someone forgot to check some boxes."

I just hope Jaclyn stays away from Davina I do not she will be a good influence. And what she put out n social media may just be the starting point.

I think, and I could be totally wrong, that Davina is 35. Did she not just celebrate her 35th birthday? I know she posted pictures on her Facebook page.

I think we dont know for sure davina didn't say congratulations to Sean's promotion, but whether she has or has not, the issue was always Sean's willingnessto move.

I feel for her, I don't know how to commit 100% knowing he's not, esp he lied about willing to move.

Davina stated from the beginning that she absolutely would not relocate.  That was a deal breaker for her.  Sean either lied when he said he was willing to relocate, or thought that he could but when it came down to it, realized that he didn't want to.  Just because he did that does not mean she should have changed her mind.  It's not like she said she was on the fence and then changed her mind, she said that under no uncertain terms was she leaving Manhattan.  

If this show really wanted to see these couples be successful, they should make sure that the living location is okay with them before they wed.  They don't have to give anything away other than, "Sean, would you be willing to locate to Manhattan?"  Sean would have said no and they would have moved on to someone else that was suited for Davina that was willing to move.  If they said to Jaclyn, "Jaclyn, would you be willing to live on Long Island with or near your spouse's mother/niece" she would have said NO WAY and they would have avoided a lot of heartache for her.  These people did not get a fair shot at anything.  These marriages were doomed from the beginning because of the location situations (assuming that the men were on the up and up otherwise, which we know now they were not)  

If this show continues, I think that to preserve any semblance of a fan base, they need to put a couple of rules in place - the first being that you MUST live together the entire 6 weeks.  That would have weeded Sean and Ryan R out before anything even started.  If someone says they are willing to relocate, then they need to do so if they are paired with someone that has relocating as a deal breaker.  

Reading the article about the experts (spiritual specialist is an atheist??) I have little respect for this process, even less than I had when I only knew that the men (and Jessica) were not genuine in their reasons for being on the show.

I think Davina has room to grow before she's going to be successful in a relationship but I believe that she and Jaclyn were the ones that got screwed in this process.  I think that out of the 6, they had the most sincere desires, Jaclyn being the one that was probably most ready to actually be married and start a life with someone.  She was SO open to Ryan even though she was not initially attracted to him.  A lot of people would have thrown in the towel right then and there.  But she took the time let him grow on her, get to know him, take some of her walls down, and then she was all in.  She is respectful, dignified, and really just showed what a good sense of character she has.  I feel most bad for her, because in the end, she is the one out of all of them that really got hurt badly.  

It was said that the producers rushed to pick the men because they wanted to start filming before the holidays rather than in March as was originally planned.  My question is, why did they not go back to the pool of men that they screened for the first season?  I am more than sure that out of all of those hundreds of men, there were a few that would have been compatible with the ladies.  Those men were screened (supposedly) the "right" way, that would have been a much safer bet than the process they chose (or lack thereof) for the men this season.
