He's really weird. I still don't believe he has that much money to spend on rent either. His own place was tiny! How could he suddenly afford to spend 2500 on rent every month? He doesn't, he just said so because the show is paying for the place they stay at during filming. He wanted the most expensive he could find. He's such an obvious scam artist. Poor Jess.

you know that was exactly when i realized just how fabricated their conversations were about rent and money

Immature, anger issues and potential con artist? What a great catch.
Dr C. needs to go back to the drawing board and revise his "instruments". Ryan D does not belong on this show.

I don't think the $100 thing is a big deal, seems like he makes decent money and it could be as simple as him just needing cash quickly and returning it. This is the guy who plans to contribute that into rent every month X 25.

I thought about that. But from experience, people who really have alot of money:
a) rarely if ever talk about it
b) are very frugal.

Something about the way he spoke about contributing more because of his successful business just seemed off for me. I don't trust this guy in general so maybe I'm being overly critical.

It seemed off to me too. I doubt his company is that much of a gold mine that he can be so nonchalant about money. If it was, he wouldn't be living in that tiny hole below street level. I think he just wants to milk the show for all it's worth, which is why he was so excited about that 4k/month apartment. Jessica, however, looked really annoyed and said something about not letting him or anyone (the show?) pay that much, because it makes no sense. She clearly wasn't down with the deception until she fell in love with that brick wall and loads of closet space. Well that place was back on the market since the start of Feb, so clearly they didn't stay there after filming.

You are making so much sense. How can someone go from a miniscule apartment in SI to a big one in BK? Also, I don't believe for one second that he spends $60 a day on food. That's what? $1800 a month for 1 person?

There was an underlying tone of bragging throughout the last episode. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice it.

I guess we'll see if they last and where they live. I found the amount he plans to spend on rent way too high, not sure if I believe it, but it's possible I guess.

Interesting that it was back on the market after filming.

He blows up over $100 he took from the wedding money? Clearly he's lying about the amount he makes and got caught. Thus blowing up. He can't be confronted apparently ever

^ I'm not sure if his reaction was about the money, but if it was that's a little strange. I'll have to watch and see how it goes down.

He seems to freak out anytime something he's said or done is brought to light - thus tarnishing what ever image he is trying to portray on TV. I get the sense he's on this show for fame not love.

I've had the sense from day one that he's very tightly controlling his public persona
the bragging about how much money he makes/spends fits in with that...he also told the camera crew not to follow him and rapidly removed the mic from his clothes when he and jess fought ...he took that conversation to the phone and then after they had that conversation they updated viewers
