Bachelor New Zealand - Art Green - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers*

From this article it looks like tonight's Episode 10 (April 15) and then next week's 2 episodes 11 & 12 (April 21 & 22) will all take place in Tauranga. Along with summaries of Ep 11 and Ep 12  which mention single dates, this means HTDs will probably be in two weeks time for HTDs=Ep 13 (April 28) FDs=Ep 14 (April 29) and then the following week possibly MTP/LCD/FRC (May 5 & 6) with a possibility of another week for May 12/13 for FRC and ATFR.

Tonight's episode [Episode 9] showed a group date with bachelor Art Green and a rose ceremony at the French Country House in Pahoia and a single date at Omanawa Falls and Bella Vista Lodge with a massage from Willow Therapeutic.

The bachelorettes all stayed at Trinity Wharf.

The next three episodes are also filmed in Tauranga.

The show's executive producer Anna Lynch said Mediaworks was approached by Tourism Bay of Plenty to film in this region and "we leapt at the chance".

"It was a golden opportunity to showcase a region that hasn't been over exposed.

We relished the idea of finding hidden romantic gems in an area that is relatively unexplored."

... Has there ever been a FRC/Final 2 with F2 girls who BOTH have never had an intro video for any franchise? I cannot think of one

so we are sure that Poppy is diving and I recognized dani's giggling when she fell.

We see both poppy and dani's side but I can say that the girl diving has roung cheek and no nails, long hair and big eyes... which is poppy for me ... but i think it was already discovered.

The group date is windcarts (if it is a GD because I see only one girl and arthur but since he is using a flag for the arrival looks like a competition to me so several windcarts): the girl in the windcart who fell has the same legs and giggling as dani. Nobody is hurt, I see clearly arthur running to her and laughing.

danielle does not have a 1on1, I can pretty much say that Danielle removed herself before the rose ceremony because she saw no point to be stay. He did not offer a 1on1, message received, thank you very much, bye bye arthur!

we determined with picture for proof that dani was in Fidji. Did I read somewhere we proved it was alysha the 2nd?

Just watched Tuesday's episode and wow, did the claws come out when Arthur didn't eliminate anyone. I expected catty from Crystal, but nice way to join her Dani and Poppy. I think the girls need to remember a big part of the bachelor/bachelorette, the lead does what they want and it is their party not yours. Deal with it.

I wonder did Danielle realize that her horse spooked Matilda's horse and that is really poor planning on the producers and the horse farms part to put two horses that don't get along together. I confess, I enjoyed seeing Matilda show that she was in pain. To me that made her more real and it was very sweet how Dani went to her right away.

I think Art is an active and adventurous guy and so yeah lots of active dates, it is something that would be important to him that his girlfriend is up for fun and adventure. I actually think the fact that Crystal was the only one with a very formalish 1:1 date with no adventure or activity at all and then her leaving the horseback riding shows that while she is pretty, she will not be the one.

I actually felt bad for Kristie not getting a rose on her 1:1 date and prefer that in the US version that means you go home. IMO, that would have been kinder to her.

I still really like Matilda, but definitely see that he has greater interest in Alysha, Dani and Poppy than the others.

If Danielle leaves next week after not getting a 1:1 then I say good for her, he has made his intentions obvious, so why not leave and make it easier on herself.

I know Art likes Alysha, but I have to say of his top 4, I like her the least. She is almost as bossy and controlling as Kristie IMO, she just sugar coats it better.

Dani is really fun, but I am not sure that she seems old enough to want to be really serious with anyone yet. She is the youngest, correct?

Poppy appeals to Art, but she kind of cracks me up. Not to be mean but she is by far the thickest yoga instructor I have ever seen. I am a big girl and was always thick, so I don't mean it as rude, just odd. But girl, running at night if you are alone is just stupid from a safety perspective.

I prefer Matilda, but I can see Art having fun dating any of the F4 I have listed.

Natalie will be gorgeous one day, but she needs to develop confidence and learn to be as comfortable in that tall beautiful body as Crystal is.

Just rewatched Ep 9 and wanted to see if anyone else noticed this.

We are going by a 3 day schedule between RCs and the locations of each of the days events:

Day 1:
- SD (Kristie) at Omanawa Falls and Bella Vista Lodge (Art and Kristie).
- The girls stayed at Trinity Wharf.

Day 2:
- GD on the horses on outskirts of Tauranga in Bay of Plenty so they travelled there.
- This was ALL the girls and they were going on a horse trek, so spending the whole day with probably SQT for a few girls. However, GD was cut short before they even really got anywhere (they were still by buildings) when Matilda breaks her arm.
- Matilda and Art are in the ambulance around 4PM as seen in this s/cap... you can see the clock on the ambulance wall.



-- we see a transition of clouds in the sky and then Art visiting Matilda (I believe this to be day 3 and that he had gone with her in ambulance the night before on day 2, so two separate things) --

Day 3:
- CP/RC at French Country House in Pahoia (girls likely traveled here and this is why Matilda stayed overnight at other location... not to bunk/room with another girl and move about).
- AT CP, it is mentioned by Natalie that "yesterday's catastrophic events" referring to Matilda breaking her arm.
- Then we see Art come in and tell everyone he visited with Matilda earlier in the day and gave her a rose.

So it seems that on day 2 GD, Art goes with Matilda in the ambulance and was with her then post 4 PM as shown is s/caps and seen that Art was not there when the ambulance left. He also mentioned spending time with Matilda so likely he went with her and to the hospital/clinic that evening. Then, Matilda stayed the night by herself (so not having to travel to the French house with other girls and makes sense as TBNZ production would want to take precautions since she was hurt on their time) and he visited her the next day. Why else would she be missing from the CP the next day? Also, if telling the truth, he could have visited with her earlier in the day of the CP and Matilda herself says she is gutted she will miss the CP.

From s/caps and what has been sleuthed before this makes the most sense to me... Art went with her day 2 evening and visited her day 3 earlier in the day.

Matilda seen ~ March 25 according to SM activity in bandaged arm. Posts as of ~3 weeks (which would be ~ March 25) ago she was not in a cast on her SM.

Typically, an adult wears a cast for ~ 6 weeks. This means that if Matilda wore it for ~ 6 weeks, and had it taken off around March 25th, then she fell off the horse around Feb 10/11. although it could be later or sooner depending how long she had the cast on for if more or less than 6 weeks. Great post Stuck! I agree. I don't care for Alysha at all. She seems more bent on getting Art to like her than liking him and based on her SM activity and her ex, Art is not her type AT ALL (she likes tattooed muscle heads and rap music. Also, going topless as a teacher of high school boys is a no-no to me!). I also don't care for her with Art, she brings his energy down, imo and he is always so serious/somber looking with her. Unfortunately, I do see Art interested in her and see her F4 and even F2 if she makes it that far.

For me, the only one's I actually like personality-wise are Matilda and Natalie (as a friend to Matilda) and Dani as a friend. Dani acts like she is already Art's girlfriend. She IS the youngest so will see. She was super sweet and caring for Matilda though so props to her. Chrystal as she says in her own words is "bored" with the whole thing. She is 30 years old and I think she is used to being in the spotlight and isn't interested in Art at all. Danielle is 35 and Art is just keeping her around because she is nearly a decade older and has confidence as most 35 lawyers do. Don't see her wanting to stick around on her own either. I see her taking Art aside and telling him she is out as there is nothing there. She told him before she dates men in their 50s.

Well those are my predictions - let's see how they pan out.

 We agree on a lot of these. Also agree that Poppy is most memorable (but Kristie could be as well based on being competitive).

Serenade may be Alysha or Matilda or even Dani... Sparks fly may be Alysha if not Matilda. I am expecting Matilda to get another SD soon but Alysha did mention this and so did Art "time will tell if we get another date" so if it isn't Matilda I think it is Alysha and then they kiss so sparks flying.

Tonight will likely be a double elimination. Will have to see if it aligns with SM activity. This is what had been previously sleuthed regarding SM activity and the timeline/order of girls leaving...

As of Ep 9, and relating to SM activity

Based on SM activity, so far it has been in order of the girls leaving: ** If 6 or 7 Week Timeline is correct, then they are back on SM ~ 1-2 weeks post-RC **

Question is then....

if F2 are Alysha and Dani, then they will be the first 2 girls in F2 bachelor history who never had any intro video (unless there are others, I cannot recall any where both girls were never shown with intro videos)

New preview posted on TBNZ FB page shows the girls going "Awww Danielle"... Danielle is not in the RC preview but all the other girls are so think Danielle eliminates herself at CP. So I say that she tells the girls at the CP that she is leaving. Then they are all shocked because someone is still going home...

I can see Chrystal leaving as well. Heck, she may even take the place of someone else! Wouldn't that be funny!! It may even tie into what Matilda is seen saying that she has to take back the bad things she said (so far she said things about Chrystal). I can just see Chrystal saying she wants to take someone else place since they DO show a RC and it looks like Danielle has already left by that time.

Natalie and Kristie are basically then just there for being there. Waste of time. Wish Art could do what Tim Bach Can did and just send more girls home... Personally I think that Chrystal, Danielle, Natalie and Kristie are just there to keep the numbers up and probably because the travel has been set in stone for more than 4 girls (otherwise it would be HTDs). It really should just be the final four girls already... unless he keeps one of those so not to drag anyone along who does have feelings for him.
