I thought she said she didn't watch it because she didn't need to see or didn't want to see the conversations and the things he did with other women? She said she lived it and that was enough. Maybe I missed the interview where she said she really did watch it, but lied about that so she wouldn't have to answer questions. :/ That would be weird because you just went on a competitive reality show and have been watching forever and know how it works and yet don't want to answer some tough questions?? That is completely your right but why not be honest and say that? Maybe I missed that part. Again, all around weird vibes IMHO. Hugesmile

I don't necessarily believe she didn't watch it either. I can't imagine she only watched their 1 on 1s. Or group dates too? Or did she just miss his 1 on 1s? scratch

I get it though, people who thought he picked Becca or wanted him with her will see it a certain way, and so will those who saw it with Whit. Hard to go back and unsee it and interpret it differently now. No doubt in my mind that Whit had the f1 secured, he may have struggled here and there with when to let certain women go, but as far as I know she was never in jeopardy of going home. I would consider this a pretty good edit for an f1, its not like she was edited like Emily and Chantal had all the chemistry. I hope she watched because I don't think she missed much.

She would not be the first F1 who only watched their parts. She is a big fan of the show and knows how they can twists things with the edit. Maybe she figured why torture myself? Either way, they are the only two who know exactly what happened between them...during the show and after. They will decide one way or another and we just need to stay tuned.

Personally, I don't know if I agree that Whitney was a frontrunner from the beginning or even after her wedding crash date. Yes, producers definitely manipulate situations, but you still have a lot of power as a lead. For example, Brad always made sure that his F1 felt respected, adored, and valued. Even Juan Pablo and Ben did that. I never saw that with Chris until after Britt left.

Also, JMO, but the fact that Whitney didn't watch the show proves that she's not a "must know" type of person. Anything that Chris tells her will be "edited" in order to protect himself and not hurt her feelings. If she was really a "must know" person, she would have watched the show where she could make judgments on the chemistry and relationships herself. I also don't think she "nailed" her predictions - I think that, like most women there, she probably thought her biggest competition was Britt and Kaitlyn. She probably didn't think much of the quieter girls like Becca (who got such a late 1-on-1) and Jade. I would be curious to hear if she thought she was going to win. I felt like I sensed that super-confidence kick in at F4, but who knows?

He cried when he let Kaitlyn go. The same with Carly and their lack of connection was glaring. I don't think it's any surprise that he didn't want to let these girls go. He said something about it almost every rc. For me to conclude that he had more feelings for a girl because he cried letting her go I would have to see how he would have reacted had he decided to let go of Whitney.

I don't think Whitney was a front runner the first night either. Chris has said that the FIR was between Kaitlyn and Britt and based on the 1st rc call out order Jade and Samantha rounded out his top 4. With Whitney and Britt it was Instant connection Vs. the slow burn. The more time he spent with Whitney the more impressed he was with her. By the time FSD came around she was the front runner.

A lot of good it did Brad to make Emily feel special during filming. She still acted like a jealous teenager while the show was airing. Maybe they would have lasted longer had she not watched the show and just trusted that Brad chose her in the end.

I know that there are some people that think Chris is stupid but it would be relationship suicide for him to have lied, left out or acted like the other relationships didn't matter. Especially not in the age of social media. I have a gut feeling that her sister and close friends were probably telling her enough for her to gage whether Chris was being forthcoming with her.

Yes, I think she had a pretty good idea that she would be the F1 when he let Kaitlyn go. She knew and verbalized that Becca was not ready to be what Chris wanted. I would guess that Whitney knew a lot more about Becca than Chris did. I think Kaitlyn was the clueless one. She thought Whitney was going home after the FSD's.

To me Whitney is a pretty good liar. She faked the "surprise" wedding crashers really well, so why not lie about not watching the show except for her parts? In her defense, her fiance was so busy at the time telling everyone how real it was with his F2 and that is she had said she loved him that maybe the outcome would have been different, so if Whitney felt the need to lie at that point to not answer questions about Becca, I might not blame her. Chris certainly did her no favors.

Not really interested in reading the pages I have missed, so if someone doesn't mind, I take it that they are still together? I saw that Chris is still on the DWTS? That commitment of his to getting to Iowa to get married and have those babies is really shining through Hugesmile

You all make a good point about Whitney probably having watching the show. In the past, contestants like Wes and Courtney claimed that they didn't watch the show, but it was pretty obvious from Courtney's book and Wes's interview with RS that they both watched it while it was airing. The only person I kind of believe when it comes to that statement is Chris Siegfried. I also think that even if she didn't watch the show, she did watch the WTA (didn't she have a viewing party?), which basically recapped all the interesting parts anyways. So, I agree that she's not as clueless as she's pretending to be. I do love how Whitney is always like "I made the decision not to watch the show and Chris supports me 100%". It's not like Chris is going to be "if this relationship is going to work, you better watch the show, woman! I demand you watch me making out with half a dozen women".

I went to the fan thread, which I don't normally do, but did he really say that being on DWTS was stopping him from being intimate or romantic with Whitney? I hope I read that wrong, if not Whitney, run and fast. Cause seriously, he chose to go on the stupid show as soon as he was able to date you in public, if he is using this as a reason to not get closer than just run for your life and don't look back. Corn Pablo aka Farmer Douche is not worth it.

I agree. I've always felt that Chris really respects and admires Whitney (when asked by the paparazzi why he picked Whitney: "she has her poop together and you can't say that about a lot of people"), and he felt like she was the right type of woman to pick because she wanted all the things that he did and she wouldn't hurt him like his ex-fiance did. But, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you share the same values if that true love isn't there. I honestly do think that they are both really genuine, good people so I hope that it does work out for them, but I just don't think it will.

I agree TWT. Unfortunately, unlike others, I actually think Whitney will hang on as long as possible to not be wrong. But I get the feeling there aren't a bunch of warm fuzzies coming from these two. Is it still because of their supposed maturity? Sorry, but not being able to focus on your new fiance because you chose to go on tv again doesn't scream mature to me.
