I think, if they make it to the altar, they will be more similar to Des and Chris, in that they will forever be connected to the franchise and will have a fan base following but it will be more on their terms. I, in no terms, see a wedding on TV. I might see a snippet of the wedding on a future episode but not an abc wedding production a la Sean and Catherine.

I do think that it is not too far fetched to predict some connection to TV, if Chris is looking to further expose the things about farming that he feels so strongly about. I think he was either THE keynote speaker at some farming thing or was ONE of the speakers and his ease with the TV may help him with that endeavor.

Chris and Whit imo, have a LONG way to go for me to even consider them a "legit' couple. I think he was completely out of his element on the show, and seeing him on another reality show, does not make sense to me. Chris Soules - Whitney Bischoff - Bachelor 19 - Discussion - Page 68 2498057887

Just my opinion.

It is his life, and his choice. Hope he is ready for all that comes with it.

Time will tell if he even does another show, and time will tell if Whit and Chris make it.

Until there is a date set for a wedding, it is hard to speculate....

but if they do set a date, they could film her planning the wedding, etc. Maybe even have a 1-hour special of leading up to the wedding and highlighting her love story starting from her first date with Chris when they went wedding crashing and them visiting their mural at the restaurant, etc?

I don't find Whitney to be uncomfortable with the spotlight per se, rather uncomfortable merely because most of her time on camera has been her having to *share* Chris -- whether on TB or DWTS. She seems very comfortable on tv interviews when it is just her and not discussing TB.

She may even want a tv show that is ONLY about her and Chris? I think it would be just fine and even fair to her to have it about just them and not Chris and (whoever else).

I may be in the minority, but I think that having a show about Whit and Chris would push Chris to have to focus more on Whit and highlight that aspect on his farm. He seemed very happy sharing that side of him and his home with her. If they do have one, it will still be better, imo, than TB and DWTS. Chris won't be sharing his time with another girl - only Whit. It may be nice for people that are not fans of them to see another side of them two just together. JMO

I for one would love them to have a reality show when they get back to the farm. As we get so little on this couple & feel we would get to hear a lot more about them if they did a show & then the following rate would go up much more as well. If they go back home & just farm what will we hear about them then?

IMO all this talk about a reality show started with a throw away comment during an interview. I believe it was after his first dance on DWTS and the interviewer asked if he was going to do a reality show and they could call it bling my barn or pimp my barn. I actually thought it was a good idea. I've had a thing about barns since I was little and still have wood I salvaged from my Grandfather's barn. I guess it's possible that someone else thought it might be a unique idea for a reality type show.

I personally don't think a large following matters even though Chris and Whitney are ahead of the curve when it comes to social media and recognition. I don't believe many people knew who Honey Boo Boo, The Duggar's, Duck Dynasty or Todd Krisley were before their shows aired. The networks are looking for something unique and different. IMO Whitney moving from the big city to the middle of nowhere has a Green Acres meets I Love Lucy meets The Pioneer Woman vibe to it. It could be fun and educational and relatable. If it happens I will watch it but I don't think it will. I think someone watched that interview and fabricated a possible reality show from it.

Really like this couple & feel that why their following is not as huge as some others have been is because of a few reasons. In the past fans have been able to see a lot of youtube videos of the past couples one on one dates, lots more video songs were made of the couple (which us romantic's love)& so far have only seen one made by Sophienette & last but not least Chrisney are definitely not huge SM users (especially not Facebook which a lot of people use) so we do not have enough to chat about on their Fan Thread which has gone so quiet because of this it seems. In the past the media seemed to also take a lot more photo's of the happy couple & especially now that they are in the public eye with DWTS one would think you would see more of them. As a fan feel quite let down that there is so little news of them out there.

Don't feel down Gale! They don't need a huge following - their jobs have nothing to do with being 'stars of the Bachelor,' they are well off and don't need publicity to make money, and they obviously don't need a televised, paid for wedding. So IMO they have nothing to lose if they're not interested in the first place. Others have managed just fine. I'd rather they go back to Iowa and settle right back into normal life after DWTS - much like Des and Chris, Ash and JP, etc with the occasional media appearance and Bachelor commitment.

And if they really are interested in a reality show, they should really ramp up their social media activity for their not-too-shabby IG following of 650K and 500K respectively.

I don't know even this clip makes me feel like I'm still watching an episode of the Bachelor. Their energy is just weird to me. They don't come off as a couple in love, IMO. Yes they are two mature people but I'd expect them to wear it a bit more and right now it's seems like they are just going thjought the motions.

That video isn't really an indication of anything for me other than they weren't being themselves probably because they were told what to say. Clearly neither are actors. :Nod:

Yes, I agree.

The short clip of Whitney going back stage to see Chris during an actual performance and her eyes light up when she sees him is very sweet and natural. That's the real Whitney.

The other scene of them walking in popular hiking area and Chris telling her about the dance is very staged and comes across that way. I don't know why ABC didn't have Whitney pop into the studio during rehearsal so that Chris could tell her and then capturing her honest reaction, which would have been much more endearing.

Also, Whitney does not seem to be the type to wear heels hiking. It's almost like ABC shot that scene in a couple of locations but forgot to ell her to bring a change of shoes. giggling

But, I do think that it's a beautiful backdrop and I have no doubt that we'll see some sweet exchanges between them tonight live.

I choose to believe Chris and Whitney are the "real deal." I've been wrong before and I am sure that I'll be wrong again but I think they are a good match and staying open minded about their chances.
