I totally get what you are saying Stuck, and I agree - IMO Chris should not have joined DWTS - he has gone from one whirl wind to another without time to breathe in between. Regarding the bolded, I think I would try to see if it was the person she was in the relationship with or all the outside forces that were causing her to withdraw. It's hard to tell from where we sit.

For Whitney, it must be even harder. Whitney's close friend, who coincidently is the woman who many people judge to be Chris' true love, openly wears the bracelets Chris gave her for her Birthday to the AFTR prompting speculation, and post pictures wearing a necklace Chris gave her, causing more talk about who loves who, or who loves who more? Whitney, who I suspects, values herself based on her successes, is having to deal with people predicting her failure. Is it Chris who is causing her pain or other forces beyond her control? I don't know?

I don't really know how it's possible to judge a whole relationship on a few interviews (which looked good to me btw) or a picture. Of course we can judge if we want but not sure how much weight can be put on anything we see good or bad.

I think the difference in Whitney on the show vs Whitney now is that she was competing then and had to really put herself out to get to know Chris. Now she's happy and relaxed in her relationship and some take that as a good thing and others feel something's wrong. I like them together although wouldn't call myself a fan. Now it's all up to them so I guess we'll see.

To clarify, I understood it as reading the Chris was going to be like an Uncle to Witney, his dance partner, and screen her dates.

Do think she looked really good...Whitney.

Its vague enough that part of me I wondered if perhaps he was worried about a potential attraction being so close to another woman but then i'm totally bias when it comes to this couple and their longevity!  

That said, I think he did a good job of answering the question on Erin's follow up.
