To add, there was a Life and Style article a week back that said a similar thing - He was in love with the F2 also but chose who was better able to fit his life and who was ready for kids. Said he had a real hard time getting over the F2.

I have plenty to believe Whitney is F1 that has nothing to do with RS but this is Becca' thread so I am going to just agree to disagree that Becca is the F1.

I'd love to see Becca as the next Bachelorette though! (even if I am rooting for Kaitlyn) Smiley

Whitney went on the show with an agenda. Her agenda was to receive the last rose and be the one Chris proposed to. I do believe she is the final one and they are engaged but in my heart I believe she was his second choice. He was in love with Becca but she did not progress to the point of giving Chris the reassurance he needed. Knowing he came on the show to find a wife he made the decision to go with the Whitney. The issue will be can Whitney deal with this and keep her heart open to Chris as she really gets to know Chris. I might eat crow but I do not believe this will end with a happy ever after. A marriage might take place but will it last ----I say NO.

I don't buy that. It doesn't make sense to the story they have been portraying all season. If I am W and see how the story up to this point has played out I would feel like 2nd fiddle... he really wanted Becca but Whitney will "do". If W is 2nd choice I don't see that he would say, I was really going to propose to this one, but since she left I guess I will give you the ring... Now on the other hand if Becca is in love, eventually willing to move to Arlington but not right away I can see the scenario of him proposing to her and waiting. (Could this be what their argument was about the morning of the FS?)

I don't know. I am confused. Everything in my eyes is leading Becca to be F1 except for the spoilers from RS. Still hopeful that ABC leaked that info on purpose to up the drama for the FRC.

Oh I agree... if it is Whitney they will last all of 5 months. Sorry to say cause she seemed like a lovely lady. You can't see how much your fiancee loved this other person on film and have a healthy relationship. You just can't.

^^^ They will never pick Becca for bachelorette. IMO

I think the article was released a week early but at least we know what happened now. Still will be watching how it all plays out.

I remember the LS article too that now makes sense that said Chris had a hard time getting over his final 2. sad

I bet RS will comment on the "things he knows" in his final post after the final rose.

Yep, Papa Soules said it best Whitney was a sure thing but, Becca was/is who he wanted :yes:

If you believe it to be true and believe that Becca is F1 then you would believe he really wanted to be engaged to Whitney then.

It isn't true. I am telling you that right now. I don't care who F1 is. Life and Style is crap.

K now Im going to type more if you read the Us mag. It says this so please don't make me Duck agin. sad

word for word you all be the judge. (Tilly took the huge step of introducing Soules to her family- the first time she ever brought a man to SAN DIEGO.) That's why I asked about you all about her sister Katie and where the home town date was. So please don't beleave this. If they put this in the same mag as what was shown. What else is not true? I still beleave that Becca is the ONE... And I'm sticking to it. Smiley
