I'm a "Whit"ter but I don't put a lot of value in this as a clue this season. Becca is kinda a late bloomer with Chris and I doubt TPTB really understood the depth of his attraction to her.

Well I have not wavered since yesterday. Even after last nights episode.

My guess is he chooses Whitney. Now I better get out of here and stop reading before I change it back to Becca....

Hee hee I love when I get like this in a season. I really like them both. If Chris was under the age of 30 though I think he would choose Becca.

Whitney and Chris are at the same point in their lives and marriage and family is at the top of that list.

With them having such a low budget this year... I bet they figured why give the expensive suite to someone who's not going to use the amenities

I know you are joking. 
However, if Becca were the F1,  the one bedroom villa had a private pool attached. Private. A nice bath area with hottub and a sitting room, private patio area with lounges, amongst other things.  So if you aren't going to get physical, the villa actually had more distractions and comfort for talking etc vs a smaller suite where the bed is everywhere you look. 
IDK---left hand one bedroom villa, right hand one bedroom suite.

I think I am one of the few who haven't wavered, thinking Whitney is still F1. I don't have a real favorite this season, I liked all the F4 girls. But I personally feel Whitney is the best fit.
I love watching a season, liking the contestants, but not feeling invested. Nick practically drained me last season!!

Whitney is draining me. Let me hope I don't have a favorite like this in the bachelorette's F2. I wavered a bit last night but honestly when I thought about it this morning, I think I just fell into the edit. They want you to believe he wants Becca for the shock factor when he picks Whitney.

I am jealous of you! I've always watched, maybe liking one or more contestants, and rooting a little for them, but never got invested. Somehow, despite knowing the few real love stories that have happened on the show were luck\accident\coincidence, and an unexpected bonus, I somehow got sucked into believing I was going to see a real love story this season. But once they cleared out the crazies, it has felt like a roller coaster ride.

Yeah, I honestly feel like TPTB are pushing Chris towards Whitney, because they want that success story with a happily ever after. CH even tried to put words in his mouth with the whole "so would you say you've fallen in love with Whitney" and he just stammered something about it not feeling right to say that. I have no doubt in my mind that they want him to pick Whitney, hence the romantic boat date and the best possible suite. I just don't think Chris is as attracted to Whitney sexually as he is to Becca. There, I said it. I don't think Whitney is unattractive by any means, she's just what you may call a "handsome woman", while Chris's celebrity crush is more of the cute type and somewhat resembles Becca. You can talk about Chris and Whitney's compatibility all day long, but that doesn't diminish the importance of physical attraction and I have my doubts about theirs. :hidingchair

One of things that came to mind with the preview and talk of girlfriend vs wife is that Whitney expects a proposal at the end if he picks her while Becca is not at that point at this point in the story.  How prepared to commit is he?

I'm right there with ya, I still think Whitney is his final choice.

The season that drained me the most was Jillian's season, I thought for sure Reid would be her f1 (well at least I hoped!)
