I am 7 years younger than my husband and we mesh quite well.  Age is just a number and I feel that Becca is much more mature IRL than what we are seeing in her edit.  

You aren't the only one. I am 11 yrs younger than my husband, we are working on 28 yrs together. Age is a number, nothing else. What's in the heart and mind is all that matters and that goes for Becca, Whitney or anyother couple out there, imo

While I agree that age can just be a number, I just don't see Becca all that into Chris...despite the hand holding and recent kissing. She has to want to be on the same page or at least meet in the middle somewhere and I don't see that happening. To me it feels like they are two people who like each other and maybe in different circumstances, things might have been different, but right now, they both seem to be going through the motions for the sake of the show.

Chris seems in like with Becca. Together they are nice and mellow. The Chris that I see with Whitney is just so different. He is giddy. Like a school boy with his first crush. Chris with Whitney seems excited and protective. I don't sense that at all with anyone else. Everything about his time with her seems more energized. He seems more energized...like he got a shot of adrenaline.

What I also find interesting is that Whitney is in the F2 position that is in 3 of the 4 seasons....very interesting in deed.

 I don't know about that Diana.  I heard some things and I seriously doubt if Melissa was ever supposed to be the F1.  Supposedly, things had to go down the way they did and that there's a lot more to it but I wasn't told anymore than that.

Doesn't traditionally the F1 arrive back home a few days after the FRC because they've been a couple days spending time with the lead that just chose him or her? Is this only because they are usually on an island and have to fly back? Both F1 & F2 could've flown home in a little more than 1 hr if F1/F2 are Whitney & Becca . Do you think Becca/Whitney both go home the day after the FRC, one engaged, the other, not because TPTB want to mess with sleuthers/ RS? tennis, I think you are maybe getting Whit and Becca confused.  It was Chris that gave Becca a necklace that she was wearing in pics the day after the FRC.



After seeing I was doing a lot of posts together, I tried to condense them down.  Sorry for so many posts in a row there.

what is an F1; F2 position? Has this position been proven for all 21 seasons of the show? TIA.

I do think this thread needs more topics on Whitney, than Becca, I really don't want every Whitney fan to escape to a "fan thread". But it is a discussion thread, so I get it, the comparisons are being made and people who believe in an ending different from the spoiler try to make their case why so.

I do believe the F1 to be opposite of what RS says, I'm not a fan of anyone this season, my favorite is Kaitlyn, but I've payed closer attention to Whitney, because I've found her fascinating from the beginning. I like her.
I find her beautiful. Gorgeous outside and wonderful personality. I wouldn't mind to meet her, be friends with, with a woman like her. I like her style, from dressing, thinking to expressing her thoughts, referring to others. Positivity all around. I also like that she isn't afraid to speak her mind, but she also knows how to argument her opinions and isn't mean, even when she confronts someone she thinks first and doesn't judge before trying to understand, she's honest and true to herself with her beliefs and very encouraging also to others around.

That said, please don't mind if I write something that I can't in the fan thread.
More time I've given to the thought about Whitney's approach, more I'm convinced that Whitney has fallen into a trap, the one that I know all too well and probably anyone of you too, so bear with me.
I wasn't so sure before, because I was waiting for Chris' demeanor to change, and maybe I'm rushing again and jumping to conclusions before seeing BL in the next episode, so I can be wrong, but please take this as my observation and I wouldn't mind another point of view. Just to consider and discuss.

MHO, as part of "courting", Whitney's "crush" is clouding her "judgment" over her relationship with Chris, her compatibility and their connection. The way I "read" it, she is trying to be honest and open to Chris about herself, and means well, so she is telling him about her emotions/feelings and she is showing him her excitement. She's being very accommodating to him as she is taking this "game" (show) as a possibility to meet her perfect match, or what she believes he is. Knowing how this show "works" (from her standpoint of a longtime viewer), she is making the best of their time "alone" to make him understand who she is and what he is getting "in the package" if he chooses her. So in that regard she is disregarding his behavior, what in "real life" might not be acceptable she dismisses/takes as a part of the game and in one occasion (that was highlighted) directs her feelings on the other contestant (Britt) instead of him. She never questions him, she questions others (when discussing what she thinks Chris likes or not). (as for now, from what I've seen)

I had similar experience and I asked a guy, what I did wrong in my approach to men, since it seemed to me everyone around was falling in love just by appearance, looks, nobody was really interested to what I had to offer in terms of my thinking, my views on the world, relationship, ...and he told me that I should "keep the mystery", that I was too blatantly honest and open with them, very much like Kaitlyn & Whitney we are seeing now, I wasn't playing the game of "a catch".
Another "mistake", I convinced myself that the guy I knew was perfect for me, for all the similar reasons Whitney seems to consider Chris to be her "man". The cultural and background similarities, same taste, same love in music, sports, similar thinking on religion, family, if there would be a list of attributes, he would check in all of them.

But the biggest mistake I made was to think, that I was "perfect" for him, that I matched the girl I thought he would need to date. And the reality was different. He liked me, he loved to talk to me, he adored my way of thinking, we would be able to talk our heads off discussing our passions and interests, but he never fell in love with me.

IMO, the earlier seasons were different for the F1 and again, IMO were pretty consistent but the latter seasons seem to have the F1 in a different position for the F3 RC than where Whitney is standing. Where she is, most of the F2/F3 have come from there with only 1 exception I believe since Jake Pavelka's season. I will try later today to see if I still have the caps on file of the rose ceremonies or if I only copied their order down without physical proof. Again, we are talking Bachelor seasons here in this case versus Bachelorette. That hasn't followed this pattern but another one.

However after the big and rich concert Whitney said right now I am feeling mad. I think she was mad at Chris and the way the whole date went down. I saw that she was mad but also hurt. I think she would bend for Chris but only so far. Also right now she is on a show and has social graces.
