Exactly. I think it's weird some people say that Chris doesn't chase Whitney. He does, she just makes it easier to chase.

I think of it as ... she chased him, until he caught her.

I truly can see Chris and Whitney as two of the most mature people ever to come on this show. Yes, he can act a little goofy, but I really see them as two grown ups who are at a time in their lives where they know themselves, know what they want and are ready to make the necessary compromises to make it work. They just seem to compliment one another.

One thing I have to say about Whitney. She is turning into one of my all time favourites to ever come out of this show. Not because she is the most beautiful, or has the most compelling story, or is the funniest, but because in all my years watching this show, I have never seen a woman act as grown up as she is. She does not make a spectacle of herself in any way, shape or form. She is mature. She is smart. She is kind. She is thoughtful. She is successful and passionate about her career. She acts her age. She knows what she wants and she goes out and gets it...without apologies and with strength and grace and a maturity and elegance that is beyond refreshing on this train wreck of a show. I can understand why Chris may wonder if she is too good to be true and why she would want to go live on a farm in Arlington. If he manages to get the girl and make this work long term, he will really go up in my estimation...and I already find him to be one of my favourites. You go farmer and make that woman happy!

I have been rewatching some of their dates and the mural date is when I think they both really fell in love with each other and Chris caught Whitney.  A little twirl and F1 music at point 3.20.  This is the prelude to their FRC. IMO.

Whitney and Chris remind me of Ashley and JP. Both couples have established careers (actually ... Ashley was well on her way to one!) and were at an ideal point in their lives to make a commitment. While JP may have gone the show as a lark, he took the show just as seriously as Whitney is taking it. They were not looking at the Bachelor to launch anything for them or to join BachNation. And now when JP tweets all those wonderful photos of their baby, my heart melts.

I really hope that Chris and Whitney are able to take the same path. It will be fun to follow them.

In my years of watching the Bachelor, two people stand out as people that command our attention. One was Chris Lambton, a gentleman  that was worth watching. Even today, I will check in to see what he and Peyton are up to.

The other is Whitney.  She is so chrismatic and I would guess she is a person most would like to have for a friend. We are surely  going to wait for several years before someone pops up that is so enjoyable to watch and observe.

Yes. Chris Lambton is another of my all time favourites. Loved him and so wanted him as the Bachelor because I selfishly wanted to see more of him, but at the same time, I was so happy he stayed true to who I thought he was and went and got himself a great woman all on his own. No fame seeking from him...which only makes it that much sweeter that he ended up on tv in his own gardening show...without having to prostrate himself to tptb and sell his soul to the franchise.

As for Whitney. I agree that she would be great to have as a friend. Just like Chris L, I want to see her happy....however she may decide that is.

I am trying to be realistic because for Chris and Whitney to have a successful relationship, I think it will take a lot of compromise. Let's face it, living out there on the farm will have it's challenges. Other relationships that have come out of this franchise have had compromises...as, let's face it, does any relationship...but, I think this one has more than most just because of the location. Having said that, it is getting harder and harder for me to keep off the .

He is leaning in and looking at her with such intensity. He is holding both her hands in his. Chris reassures her, "nothing about you is weird." This man is as serious as a heart attack about her. "It's who you are and I love that about you."

And then when he starts his ITM ... it's like he's about to start crying ... the level of emotions he feels for her is just so much. I honestly don't think that I have seen a bachelor this far gone AND it's reciprocated with Whitney!

He is just so serious and then just so delighted to show her the mural. I love this couple!!

I love how intently he is watching her and listening to every word she is saying. He is very protective of her which I find very sweet. I really do not see this with any of the others...the giddiness, the intensity, the protectiveness. Nope. Just Whitney.
