I know the meatheads annoyed Reid alot and he said it was like being back at summer camp living with them. He was pissed at quite of few of them as they egged him on and made fun of him. They are jealous bastards in my opinion, same as this group who are talking trash about JP.

And now they have even more to be jealous about since he's been dating a former Miss USA. Sweet. Sometimes there is a little justice in the world.

I love Karma, it always comes back to bite you in the a$$. I remember all the ragging on Reid as well. Some boys never grow into men.

From the caps, the rejection of Ben turned Ashley into a hot mess, she was crying and so sad (like Jillian) on the day when she was to be her happiest, the day she gets the man she loves proposal for marriage. It was no fun for Ashley to have to let the F2 go, it never is. I think she was just as upset as Jillian with the Reid fiasco. It's unfair and cruel, but as IC said, "it's the nature of the beast" on this show. The final 2 guys know one of them will get their heartbroken, as JP said and Ben said. Ben said he could be crushed at the end, so he was not some wide eyed baby walking to the podium.

I feel it's so unfair to judge Ashley harshly on how it all went down and I still think TPTB played a big part and did manipulate sweet and trusting Ben to have him get down on knee right away, and maybe Ashley was shocked for a minute and didn't know what to say. Let's face it, when did that ever happen, if it does go like that? Most wait for a sign from the lead, Kitpyn knew and didn't go down on bended knee.

TPTB used sweet Ben, screw them and call them names, but not sweet Ashley, they used her too, remember that. imo

I know I risk being grouped with the haters - which I'm not - but I still think Ashley is smart enough to have figured out a way to ensure Ben didn't take it that far, especially if she knew by FD time. I do not think she allowed it to go down that way on purpose - but I am disappointed all the same.

I always thought that the screencap of the guy walking away, where he is just barely in the frame, where you can see the camera lights set up, was Ben due to the upper body posture. But I never said anything. Wasn't sure how my opinion would be taken, due to so many being so positive it was JP, so I kept it to myself.

Wait - and what about the curved thumbs? Or was it decided that both guys had curved thumbs. One thing I've always known: I absolutely, utterly stink at sleuthing. I just never get any of this stuff right and my hat is off to you sharper crayons out there.

Yep, I tried several times to tell everyone that JP's thumbs also curve out. No one wanted to listen. But I'm not one of the "cool heads" here.

All the SCs are Ben.

The only FRC footage of JP is him walking out of the seaplane.

JP was on opposite side of Ashley the whole way through?

eta - so that watch we see of the guy getting off hte plane, do you think we're actually seeing the thick silver border of the watch, and not the face of the watch?

Yes, props to them. I was fooled all the way. I was so certain the guy with the striped collar had to be JP and that the guy coming out of the seaplane had to be Ben.

Who knew JP and Ben had the EXACT same jaw line!

I know! This will make me think twice on every body part I ever see in a preview again.

Just think the trouble we would have if the final 2 were Ben And Constantine! :greenman:

I thought this one was JP when it was first posted - definitely the fit he wears. But then striped shirt guy's jawline looked so much like JP.

Well now I have a reason to be confused! I not sure I get it yet. So this picture is JP? right. I thought it was him the first time I saw it because of the way he tugged on his coat. And the guy walking out of the seaplane is the same as this guy tugging on jacket? (cuz I thought that was JP's stride too).

The jawline one I thought was JP too, but now I see it's Ben, right? And the person standing with his with hands in pocket I always thought was Ben, that's correct too?

Feel free to correct me, I'm not sure I have all this right.

I guess it was that STUPID jawline, it messed me up with colors of suits etc. I hate to bring this up here, I should post it in the SCs thread, but someone was able to see that the jawline guy was taller (or thought it was taller) than JP. But that thought didn't get much traction because we were pretty convinced that the jawline was JP. kudos to the person that saw that.

I'm not taking credit for that one but always thought the height was wrong for JP. In the last RC he looks to be 2-3" shorter than Ben which is what I thought all the time. It just never seemed possible the GSG could be Ben without hair showing. Who knew his haircut would make that much of a difference? That's why I always thought JP was leaving because it didn't seem possible that Ben could be the striped shirt guy.
