Yes, I've noticed on other boards as well, little digs being made about JP. It really is sad. Although the vast majority of Ben fans have been very gracious. Ben is a great guy. So glad to hear he is doing well now.

I also forget there is no age limit to be a member, so obvisously, we have some children on here making up stories about JP. Glad when school starts, maybe they won't be around anymore. lol

To me it's not about being a fan of one guy or the other. It's about trying to view the guys from Ashley's (or any lead's) eyes and picking based upon that. JP is who brightens her face and has the traits she claims that she wants. Ben is a great guy who has it all too but JP has whatever "it" is ... I'm happy for her even if it doesn't last. If she's going for the passion, thank god she's experiencing it early rather than not finding it, marrying 'compatible' then winding up looking for it when it will be much harder to find because she's too old. LOL!

I always tell myself when posting on the forums remember to always be a fan not a fanatic. Remember that no one can be truly objective because we all bring our life experiences to the table. Every persons view, observation and opinion is as valid as the next person's. Discuss, debate but don't defame or discount others. Treat people in the same way that you would like to be treated.

Why do you think JP is an ex-con??

I think they kinda do criminal background checks. There may not be a check for fame-whoredom or douche-bagginess but they do check for restraining orders/criminal acts. The shaved head should be a stereotype for ex-cons. How do we know her sister is talking about him? I'd think she'd be "too much" for Ben - not JP unless he acts like a lovesick school boy around them.

Actually many of our military also have shaved heads, it's one of the rights of passage when you enlist, the barber shaves your head to get rid of any lice, it's better than using the chemicals. My husband wears his hair VERY short after 22 years serving the US in the Air Force. Shame that ppl like to stereotype. no no

It's also very easy to care for... and camouflages those of us who might not have as much hair to care for as we used to...

So he's to laziness and vanity!
