Me too. I HATE, HATE, HATE that that had to happen. It sucks.

TPTB are horrible for allowing that to happen. Especially when they know how hard it was for him to open up. These are the same people that thought we'd like to see the Bentley drama, though, so it doesn't surprise me.

I think I got off easy because I like both guys for different reasons. I see "it" between Ash and JP and I don't think Ash and Ben would be the best fit.

You won't see me bashing either of the guys.

This season I am Switzerland.

I like Ashley. Yes, she comes across as immature, insecure and slightly shallow, but there are much worse things in life. She's cute and fun, and I'm happy for her.

But she definitely did not handle that well. And seeing as how she is not well liked on most boards that I read, I'm sure there will be some harsh backlash. Eh, she can ignore it and go about her happy life with JP.

I haven't seen very much ungraciousness from Ben fans at all, but from a very small number whose vitriol says far more about them than it does about any of the people they are attacking.

Why do you think JP is an ex-con??

I think they kinda do criminal background checks. There may not be a check for fame-whoredom or douche-bagginess but they do check for restraining orders/criminal acts. The shaved head should be a stereotype for ex-cons. How do we know her sister is talking about him? I'd think she'd be "too much" for Ben - not JP unless he acts like a lovesick school boy around them.

Actually many of our military also have shaved heads, it's one of the rights of passage when you enlist, the barber shaves your head to get rid of any lice, it's better than using the chemicals. My husband wears his hair VERY short after 22 years serving the US in the Air Force. Shame that ppl like to stereotype.

Thank your husband and you for the service gurlbrit. My husband did 28 years in the Army and still wears his hair like JP. No reason to stereotype some of the nation's most dedicated as ex-cons. :Frown:
