Andi Dorfman - The Bachelorette 10 - Discussion - #2

Totally not surprised she agreed to a sit down interview. And while I don't expect her to really trash Josh, the fact that it is one sided isn't gonna earn her many fans IMO.

Since the breakup I have seen little attention seeking behavior except the weekend of Kelly's engagement party, which in my opinion was totally normal behavior. (the little twitter exchange seemed odd to me but again to me didn't seem like attention seeking but clarification) Personally I can't figure Andi out, sometimes I like her, sometimes she irritates me.
I too am going to reserve judgement until I see the interview and hope for the best.

Possible, but I don't think that at all. It was last month's news. People have moved on. I believe she just wants to keep her face on TV and if there was money involved, she has no job so it was a no brainer for her.

I don't exactly know how things like Advocare work financially, but would Andi be getting residual monies from the initial weeks when both Andi and Josh were working together for their team? Each time they signed up a new client, didn't they get a financial return?

But people and magz have stopped talking about it. Andi just wants the attention back to her. I don't even think her situation with Nikki is the same. TPTB hated JP and wanted Nikki to throw him under the bus, with Andi, it is all about Andi and everything has to revolve around her. She has to be seen as the right one in the break up.

For a lawyer, who is supposed to be able to convince a jury through her use of words and logic, she has never been very good at interviews. (I'm beginning to suspect that she sucked at that aspect of law.)

Andi probably needs money and she is attempting to repair and soften her image. I think she saw how well Nikki did and thought she could as well, but, Nikki's interview was constrained by time because it was a live interview. They will have lots of time with Andi and then they will edit. It almost doesn't seem fair.

I agree that Andi will not come off as believable as Nicki nor will she do as well under the pressure of CH. 

I also think Josh will have a hard time NOT getting his side out there if some of his past tweets are any indication. This could get interesting and I'm here for it. *MJ popcorn gif*

^^ As an entry level ADA, with IIRC, less than two years on the job, I doubt Andi did any jury trials.

Yeah, I don't know how that works either, but I can't imagine that it earns her a living wage being that they were not in it that long. I'm sure the show flew her out to California and she visited her family as the excuse, but it was really for the interview.

You're probably right. Still, that is the sort of stuff I imagine she practiced in moot court.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Andi ever actually did anything officially for Advocare like Josh does. It seems to me Josh did all of the work and had his official team and Andi kind of just helped him promote it and what not. I know there is a member or two here that is on Josh's team for Advocare so they might have better answers.

I don't have any actual insight, but while they were engaged I'm thinking they probably just shared their finances as a couple or that Andi got some sort of sum for it even though it didn't seem like she ever actually did anything except post about it on social media or she would hop on during the conference calls. What Josh does for Advocare can certainly get him a nice annual salary. I would think she either got her sum while they were together or they just shared their finances. But still, I don't think she did much with it.

Surely MeandI is reasonably well-versed in contract law and understood what was required of her as the 'ette. It's hard to imagine that she would agree to a contract that would damage her "reputation". The opposite is more believable: safeguards in place to protect her to some degree.

The disastrous interview with CH after Eric's death was designed to show a softer, sympathetic - empathetic MeandI. Fail! This sit down with CH is probably another attempt at image rehab.

Regardless, we've seen that the leads can and do say no to TPTB. MeandI said yes because she has something she wants the public to hear. :strings1

Not surprising at all, there have be others who has done it, it's who TPTB deem is news worthy.... I thought they are/were under contract for a year.... So not surprised that TPTB would exercise their contract, file this under "other" obligations..... Oh, well I will be watching this one....
