Bachelor 19 - Kelsey Poe - Discussion

I'd bet good money that the Kelsey we see now, is the same Kelsey she was before her husband died.

Kelsey's panic attack may very well be real. She strikes me as being SOOOOO Type A (And I admit to being Type A myself) that she may not be able to cope with having screwed up (As in her talk with Chris possibly having backfired) or failing (not getting a rose). She certainly has pushed herself to excel and recover quickly in spite of a horrid loss.

I agree... Also, Kelsey has her accomplishments listed in her husband's obituary as much as his are. I'm assuming she wrote it as it sounds like her way of writing, and it is odd.

Wow - Sanderson's Obit mentions Kelsey's Master's Degree... and sadly, she received it just days before his death. I wonder if she was pissed that his death overshadowed her accomplishment and that's why she included it? It is bizarre!

I agree that that obituary is very unusual. Kelsey's accomplishment is listed BEFORE Sanderson's.

The cynical side of me wondered (after I googled her husband and saw that he had been a musician) if Kelsey didn't mention her husband by full name (first and last) in order to drum up sales of his music and royalties that would go to her. I realize that that was very cynical of me. I guess the 'angel Mia' and the 'devil Mia' are constantly at battle.

Ok, actually, to me this timing makes a difference. I didn't catch that when I looked at it. I can see a major event in her (and their) lives, that they just celebrated days before his death, being mentioned. Unusual, but because of the timing understandable to me now.

ETA: IMO who cares what the accomplishments of the spouse were even if it were a few days hours or minutes before death. IMO an obituary is all about the person who passed, period.

All I can say. (regarding Kelsey, not Mia's post.)

And when the paramedic asks her if she wants to talk to anyone she asks for Chris ... then she tells the paramedic with a smile and O2 on something like "I think I'm getting a rose tonight". Manipulative and needs to go home. If this is grief we are seeing she shouldn't have been there in the first place. I'm tired of the drama and would like to see the love story.

It would have been a good testament to his character to say "He was supportive in every endeavor his loved ones undertook." But to actually tout her degree before even saying what his career was seems selfish.

No way that was a legitimate panic attack... you don't fall on the floor and act the way she did. She probably doesn't even know what one is. People who suffer from them actually act much calmer than that.. the feelings are internal, not hysterical the way she was. Pathetic IMO

^100% agree. I've had a legitimate panic attack before and it was nothing like that.

She and Tierra need acting lessons in terms of faking the need to get medical care.
