JP and Ashley my favorite couple too! First time on the Bachelorette since Trista and Ryan that I cared and the bette picked the one I wanted.

I love two things. I think she always called JP "cute" - she says it on multiple dates, and like 5 times at the HTD. Don't recall her ever calling the other guys cute. Second - I love how she had sex was important to making a relationship last in that Philly interview. This seems to insinuate that they are getting along very well intimately and since they are always making out on this show it's another indicator that he is F1.

I never doubted that they would "get along very well."

The way she looked at him on meet & greet, episode #1, made me think she had just unwrapped her favorite Ken doll and was all too eager to check if all of the hidden parts were in working order. I also thought Matt's mom Gayle's advice about "remembering the protection" was left in the edit for a reason...

... along with Bentley's post-JP kiss commentary "Wow. That was kinda boring. It started out good but it sucked towards the end. But it’s more like an expected feeling."

... and her "Mickey is better looking than I am" to compensate for the fact that his face was not the coin flip she was hoping for in Las Vegas...

I like all the couples from the Bachelorette that have made it...because they all seem like soul mates to me and they really have beaten the odds. Heck...they're further along than me in my life!! Ryan & Trista...they made me believe that there were great guys out there like Ryan that could be smart, handsome, sweet and adore their woman...no matter what (I'm talking about Trista's laugh!!). And I love that Trista went against everything that she thought she wanted and now is SOOO happy...7/8 years later. Ali & Roberto...I don't even know where to start. Again...I can't believe there are people like Roberto out there. He would do anything for her. And I love that Ali is still just so smitten with him to the point that a year later...she still misses him when he's gone during the day. I mean...how cool is that??? And now JP & Ashley...it's how they are with each other and how JP treats her and takes care of her and how Ashley looks at him. I can't wait to see them and where their life takes them after August 1st. I just love them all!

What went on with these two that made it so real (Mentioned on their HTD)? Will we ever know? That sitting on lap talk had so much going on but was sliced and diced to a horrible death. Any ideas?

It was also where she realized she really didn't like seeing JP get hit and possibly hurt by Mickey. I think she was okay with the boxing until it looked like Mickey was going to really beat up on JP.

JP looked his hottest that night in his pink shirt. I would have picked him just for that. I think at the time, it was the most serious discussion they had. It was probably all fun, getting to know you (and your tongue) time until then.

Chiang Mai is in Thailand. I was between Phuket and Hong Kong. As JP said "The Jew from Long Island kicked the Irishman's ass from Cleveland" in Muay Thai boxing! :guyflirting:

I just rewatched that 1-1 time on YT tonight and it was a mess!! I remember watching that 1-1 time during the episode thinking, what the heck was that? It made no sense. Now he says in their HTD that things got real that week...I would love to see the un-edited version of that 1-1 time.
