if I was a producer I would think:

what the heck! I will play with what I have and since the viewers were completely screwed last season with chantal and brad, they may think the same with ashley and JP, except this time it will be true.

We have no idea how things were done there but I have a feeling that ashley was true to herself and when she kissed itwas either passionately or just peek/smack with closed mouth with the other

which does not bring a lot of material to work with.

Now this said, I believed that she was briefed about the fantasy date with Ben to be more cuddling. I am sure it was not that difficult because she seems very confortable with ben... To be honest, I am really not sure that she could have played the same level of comfortable with constantine. I think with ben it was a true genuine caring feeling.
