Bachelor 19 - Britt Karolina Nilsson

Anyway, going into the rose ceremony, I knew what I was doing to do. Frankly, I was not going to give Britt a rose. Yes, her outburst a couple nights prior had something to do with it, but it wasn't just that. Her sincerity had been on my mind for a couple days. First remember that Ashley I. said something about her on the two-on-one? When I was saying goodbye to her, she questioned if Britt would be the type to live in Iowa. And what you didn't get to see was that at the cocktail party in Deadwood, Jade said something to me about Britt. She said she constantly flip-flopped on her opinions and was just telling me what I wanted to hear. Carly was almost the last straw.

I had to chuckle in that JK video when she said she wondered if Chris would change his mind and regret believing Carly on that whole issue... I couldn't help but think that if Chris is indeed with Whitney, there's no way in he!! he'll admit it in public   Whitney would not allow that... and you can bet your bottom dollar, Whit will be the one wearing the pants in that relationship!!  

Even that part confused me, because in Chris's blog, which he wrote after watching the episode, he said that Carly was the last straw because Jade and Ashley had already talked to him about how two-faced she was and how she would never move to IA. He also said he had a huge issue with the scene she caused at the group date, and the whole "I'm totally going to leave...but I'll wait until right before the RC to do so". So, it wasn't just Carly that turned him against Britt. In fact, after Carly told him and he had that conversation with Britt, he seemed completely fine with her. I think it was probably the group date that confirmed his suspicions, not Carly.

I totally agree. I think blaming Carly is silly, because while she may have went a bit too far with the mean comments to the camera, her words to Chris hardly made a difference. He already looked suspicious of Britt's OTT exclamations of really really liking Arlington before Carly even said anything, and it was her tantrum in front of everyone about not getting the rose she deseeerved that did her in. How the hell did she know what Kaitlyn said to "deserve" it? She didn't, she was just being an entitled brat. Totally off-putting to anyone with half a brain. It annoys me to see Britt fans hating on Carly all over the internet, because they can't admit the fact that Britt self-imploded. Not directed at anyone here, just talking in general.

That JK clip only annoyed me further as well. The fact that she's fake 24/7 365 days a year doesn't make her fake persona any more attractive. I seriously couldn't take a whole season of her. She's the kind of person I've been avoiding since elementary school, because we just have nothing in common. I don't know, I think that was pretty different. Ali really did leave voluntarily for her job. The whole coming back was obviously staged, but the leaving part wasn't. The one time that I can think of when someone left voluntarily and it was made to seem that they were dumped was Graham and that was SO obvious. This time, unless everyone involved is an AMAZING actor, it seemed pretty clear to me that Britt did not want out. Molly said it perfectly in her podcast: she never thought that Chris would let her go. She thought that she was do a half-assed apology and he loved her so much, he would beg her to stay. The whole "I'm going to leave" was just to save face because she didn't want to get dumped. If she wanted out, it would have been very easy to say "I really like you, but I can't seem myself here". Instead, she STILL said on JK that she would have lived in Arlington.

Also, it's very obvious that she wants Bachelorette. I'm sure that she was smart enough to know that her best chances of getting that was to stay on or two more weeks, then leave or get dumped.
