Wouldn't cost effectiveness be based on the number of people that watch the wedding so i think that just because it may not be cost effective for them to air Des and Chris' wedding doesn't mean that it would not be cost effective to air Andi and Josh's wedding. I might be wrong about this because I love andi and josh so much that I can't really look at it objectively but I think that Andi and Josh are a lot more popular so it may be a lot more cost effective for them to air Andi and Josh's wedding. And I really hope that they do air Andi and Josh's wedding because I would love to see it.

Just finally watched the whole thing. Favorite part....the end when whitney says this is why we know Andi loves Josh and Andi is shown wiping his sweat and tells him how much she loves him.

I don't try to read too much into anything but I noticed in the interview she says "You can expect a fun wedding". It is interesting she says that like there will be an audience. If there wasnt a strong possibility of a tv wedding I feel like the wording would be different. I could totally be off base though.

Does anyone know, are they basing ratings off the Bachelorette seasons or the fact that the last televised wedding was a ratings disappointment? It seems like Sean & Cat's wedding was aired opposite the Emmys, Grammys or some other big event which probably hurt their ratings. So timing is pretty crucial. I also wonder if the high profile of the Murrays in Georgia, along with KC Chiefs fans would bring in more viewers for Andi & Josh's wedding since the families & friends will be playing a role in this. Not to mention the Deckers, Kershaws and other high profile friends that may also be invited.

I totally agree justafan. IMO there will be a TV wedding. ;) That look she gave said it all. Anything can happen, but she and Josh know something and I believe they have done more than "just talk" to ABC.

^SeanCat's wedding aired against the Grammys. It did significantly better than JP/Ashley's wedding. The ratings really depend on when it's aired, against what, and how long after their season the wedding occurs. FTR, I don't think ABC was disappointed with the last wedding's ratings. It did better against the Grammys than their other programming would have.

Great point! Don't forget that there will be a bachelor float in the Rose parade this year. I have a feeling Josh and Andi will be on it. If that is the case, makes sense that ABC will begin "promoting" their next wedding. ;)

I think it would be more cost effective if they scaled down from having it so elaborate.  They sure do not need a million flowers.  It could be just as beautiful just scale it down. IMO

The flowers literally cost them nothing. The florist providing them is tickled pink to do so as they receive oodles of free advertising being part of the show.
