OK didn't know that. So what is the most cost when ABC putting on the wedding?

Obviously, at JASH's wedding liquor was an issue. They had a cash bar.
Most of the vendor's either a) provide gratis or b) deeply discount, emphasis on deep.
I would imagine if the wedding has a small window of planning from the time it is announced to the day of the wedding, you would have a narrower range of vendors available.
My gut reaction would be the highest cost would be not pulling in sponsors for the show itself. If you are going to run a show, you need sponsors. If the show has a history of poor ratings or ratings that are not so great, it might be more difficult to get sponsors?
So my final answer would be the most cost would be finding the sponsors to back it to begin with, after all, the bottom line is profit.
No good deed goes unpunished.

Thanks for explaining.

And ratings for Andi's season weren't any better than for Des's season were they? I know they are much more popular on SM, but I don't know if that means as much to the network.
If Andi and Josh want a spring/summer wedding, then I hope they do their own thing and then have it on tv if they can. Most places except for a deposit can be cancelled if necessary.

I really believe Andi and Josh are in talks for a TV wedding. I guess we will know more once Chris's season starts. ;)
I hope Andi and Josh agree to do it and imo they are leaning in that direction.

I think the season's ratings + the low ratings from the wedding specials makes it a little harder for them, but the fact that they are the only couple left at the moment + the record social media followers I think plays in their favour. I hope they air it, even if it ends up being next fall or winter. Andi and Josh will make a good amount of money from it and I would put off my wedding a bit if it meant having a nice chunk of money for our future.

Except Aaron couldn't be in the wedding if it was fall or winter. In fact August would be an issue for him too, so I think Andi and Josh can't be as flexible with the timing.

I feel like ABC owes the fans airing every wedding that comes out of the show. They want us to be invested and watch every episode of every season with the ultimate ending being a wedding. Why deprive the fans of that? I feel like they can take the ratings hit for one day once in a blue moon to keep a loyal following. They don't have to make it crazy expensive and elaborate. That isn't the reason any of us would watch it. We ARE invested in this relationship the same as others are invested in Des and Chris and we deserve to be able to watch their weddings if the couples are willing to have it televised.

I highly doubt they wait that long. Aaron, his brother, plays into it too. Josh said so himself. I believe it will be in the spring or early summer. :cutesmile!:
