Bolded - in the episode description I posted, it just says that he hands out his final rose, no mention of proposal... so maybe he knows that April isn't ready and so he asks her if she'll accept the rose and see where it goes from there... and that's why the AFTR is the other half of the show... so we can see that the relationship has progressed... and maybe they are engaged now.  It has been 5 months since the FRC and they do live real close to each other, so maybe it's the relationship they had post show that will give us the answers we need.

I definitely haven't seen April as ready to say yes to a proposal. Like I said, this could change but I don't see her rushing it.

1) On her HTD, April AND Tim both share how they talked on the first episode and that it was not a competition but about two people finding out if they are really meant to be and Tim said that what April had told him really spoke to his heart. 
2) Tim has been very serious about not leading anyone on and hasn't (as best he can through the parameters that make TBCanada what it is) tried to stay true to himself and be genuine about that.
3) Consistently on her blog, April has stated that she won't rush anything. Her best friend contacted me on here (she doesn't post on here) and told me that April is not going to force anything or rush anything for anyone. April's behavior on the show supports that this is not just lip-service, she really is not seeing it as a competition, she doesn't talk about Tim's connection with the other girls, she focuses on what they have together. 
4) On her recent blog, April says that the greatest loves take time and won't rush anything. 
5) Also on her HTD, April tells her family that Tim has an ability to read her and understand her so well and that is it quite amazing and Tim responds that yes, it is really, really crazy how they get each other. 
6) Tim said that he is doing things his way this season and different from Brad's season. Well, to me, that means that if he is really serious about marriage and finding the one as he said, he would use his head and his ability to understand that April is not going to rush into anything and not propose but rather commit. He may know she is the one for him but I think, if Tim is genuine about finding the love of his life on the show as he has said, that he would not view this as a race to the altar or a race to a proposal but rather a surreal way of finding the one for him and then spending time with her post-show. The fact that they work/live so close to one another would make this easy to transition into the real world post-show. 


These are just some reasons why I don't believe Tim would take April to F2 only to let go or not F1 at least from Tim's perspective. If he is as genuine as he claims to be about actually finding the love of his life, posting roses, favoriting only 2 tweets on his personal Twitter that relate to April, then I think he really is happy with the outcome, final rose no ring, what-have-you.

Flowers should always be odd numbers in a vase when there's only a few, so if they were a gift it would either be 1, 3 , 5, 7...... except when it's a dozen then it doesn't really matter as there are so many you kinda lose count haha..

Very articulate post with alot of good supporting back up! I agree with so much of what you've posted above & you've really done a good job of identifying what the show has been trying to tell us, by what we see onscreen & what we've seen in blogs/post-rose diaries. The editors have been very particular & concise with what they're telling us in the love story; and they need to be in the short episode format.

April & Tim seem very genuine with each other. My opinion is that onscreen April has brought out the best in Tim.

Well, imo, I think it goes back to HTDs. This is when Trish and April told Tim they were falling for him. So, really those roses would be more about them choosing him than him choosing them, if that makes sense. Plus, Tim said he only saw a future with two girls and April and Trish were given roses and he let go Sachelle and Lisa (before HTD). Those three last roses hold significance then, imo. 

For me, I think Tim is a romantic at heart (based on him posting these photos of roses he certainly is). Sometimes I forget he is only 28 (he looks much older, acts like it too at times). 

Tim posting a pic of these 3 roses to me makes me think that his F1 gave them to HIM and thus, chose him too 

Tim did not need to show April Toronto, she knows the area. She lives there. Didn't someone say that she works 18 mins from his home? Wouldn't it have made more sense to show Trisha. IMO the true intent was for her to meet his friends to help him rationalize what he was feeling.

that's what I said above... that she could have given them to him to signify that she chose him too.

good point, and we also know due to April's blog that he had ulterior motives in giving her that date.. he wanted to introduce her to his best buddy and his fiancé to get their opinion on her. Also, didn't he say in some interview that he wished he could have had some friends travel with him so that he could discuss the events daily? I guess the TO date was kind of like that for him, to get an outside opinion on somebody he cared deeply for. I wonder if April told any of the other girls, or if she was told to keep that quiet??? can't wait for the ATFR to find out stuff like that.
