Yep. Never a good sign if there is no ATFR, imo.  

Tim did say his parents were very apprehensive about him being on the show. However, hee said though, that halfway through filming (so around his TO dates, Ep 5) that he met with them and "the smile on my face signaled to them that .... everything was going to be just fine". So the drama about the parents will be interesting to see how that relates to what Tim said in interviews. 

Who knows? 

I will say that Tim has not only let girls go quickly but not been too upset when they self-evicted other (do whatever you feel you must do he told them). To me, that says he was not into them in and they could pick up on that (Dom, Natalie... even her coming back was a waste as her gut was correct, he wasn't that into her). 

I never felt he had a strong love connection with anyone really other than April he seemed to have the most connection (which he states in her HTD) and then Trish he is very at ease with her and a good connection too. I will laugh if at the end of this all he decides to not lead anyone on, including himself and chooses no one. But I am not so sure. 

He could have chosen someone and they broke up already or they are together. He did post on his IG "Be with someone that makes you happy". When we know the result we will know whether this is tongue in cheek or not. And then this comment he made...

Tim has consistently mentioned that it is not just him giving out roses and choosing girls but they have to choose him as well.   Case in point: Dom and Natalie chose to leave, and he told Trish he was afraid of getting hurt in the end, and on interviews he reiterated that it was not just him choosing but having to be chosen. To me, Trish wears her heart on her sleeve so I don't see how he would have been concerned about her not choosing him in return. April is a bit of a mystery (as he himself said) and I could see him doubtful about her choosing him (saying yes to a proposal) since she won't rush anything. 

Tim does seem happy though in post-interviews and when one interviewer was talking about some furniture Tim made she said he can give it to his bride to be and he responded "ssshhhht" laughingly. 

From the SC of April upset though, it may have to do with meeting the family and the nerves of it all. She definitely is a more shy girl and it is probably a really big deal to her. It would certainly make it very real. 

I just don't know if April would be ready to say 'yes' to a proposal? Trish maybe, but I don't see April doing that unless something progresses quickly on her side. Plus, Tim has yet to use the word love though with any of the girls (falling/fell is not a substitute, imo). There was a VO of him saying 'I am crazy for her' so will see if we get to hear him say that about either girl. 

One thing to keep in mind regarding limited SCs...  we never saw ANY SC of Lisa's family and thought that would mean that Tim lets her go before meeting her family and that is exactly what happened. No SC of him at the end FRC, no SC of anyone really other than April in Moorea (we see Trish with some tropical flowers behind her but that is it). Of course there is still time to see some more preview SC of upcoming episodes but even in Brad's season we had something to look at from Brad's point of view (love, etc).

Interesting wording choice. This could relate to April choosing to leave and then choosing to return to Tim (despite her apprehensions about whatever.)

Haha. Just read that! Thanks sophinette. Makes sense to me that there will be because Tim seems really happy post-show and in interviews.   In fact, Tim has stated that being on TB was "the most rewarding experience of his life!" 

Just my thoughts:
1) If the upset is before the dates (yacht and sunset beach date) then there is nothing to be concerned about. 
2) If it is after these dates, imo, it may have to do with feeling rushed. She has stated on her HTD (and Tim agreed with her) that this is not a competition to her, it as about finding out if two people are really meant to be. She also said that the greatest loves take time (in her blog) and she will not rush anything. I am not 100% sold on the idea that if Tim chooses April she would want to be engaged already. In a relationship, maybe but perhaps not engaged. This could change though and she may get to a place of 'yes' to a proposal.

Bolded - in the episode description I posted, it just says that he hands out his final rose, no mention of proposal... so maybe he knows that April isn't ready and so he asks her if she'll accept the rose and see where it goes from there... and that's why the AFTR is the other half of the show... so we can see that the relationship has progressed... and maybe they are engaged now.  It has been 5 months since the FRC and they do live real close to each other, so maybe it's the relationship they had post show that will give us the answers we need.

Well, I know it is speculation, but I posted when I watched the Ep 5 and saw Tim tell April that he was once again at a life-changing spot with her present. And then introduces her to his best friend/best friend's fiance (the fiance part is most significant to me as it is a couple's thing to do!). I stated back then I thought the whole thing was all over and Tim was just going try to do what he says in interviews and that is not waste anyone's time and try to give them the best experience he can with them since they are on the show with him. I think that Tim was sold on April by their TO date. He even stated he had waited a looong time for their TO date and to show her his special place. It has always been April that he has had doubts about her feelings for him, and then he says by HTD that he was so relieved how her reservations were about her family/upbringing (I think he was concerned they were about him, to be honest). Now does that mean he doesn't fall in love with Trish? Of course he can. She is fun and easy to be with and he is comfortable being himself around her. But I don't see a deep, deep connection that I see with him and April. Again, jmho.

For sure... and then when all the girls were trying to impress him... he tries to impress her by saying he lit all those candles for her. That's going to make a very sweet start to finish montage at the ATFR :sweetheart:

Why would Tim have the dried roses and not the girl he gave them to?
