To me real strength is when you can face opposition or hard times and actually have grace and not have to blame the other or break down all the time. We did not see this with Andi. When it wasn't Andi's way she got mean and nasty or cried until she got her way.
I think there's a difference between a strong woman and a woman of strong personality (or a strong-minded woman). ITA with the bolded part. To me, a strong woman shows grace and courage when facing challenges/difficult times in life. What has Andi done that made her a strong woman? I am curious to know.
BTW, I think it's great she and Josh attended charity events. I hope they will continue to support worthy causes.
Thank you sdmom! This is a perfect way to put it. I see Andi having a strong personality, that to me isn't being a strong woman. I appreciate it.
I don't knock going to events that support charity, but I have not seen the muscle behind the smiling faces. When I see them get a little dirty for it, I will be more impressed. Putting on a nice outfit and smiling and posting on SM is as much about promoting their couple brand as about charity. When I see them do something for just the charity, I will be impressed.

I can not imagine someone having to come to my defense otherwise, seriously.
I guess if something was said about me or my behavior behind my back or without me being present--that could be another scenario as I said above.
Otherwise, I can not think of a situation I would want or desire such.
Honestly, as I think about this, I don't think I have ever been in that situation where it has been done.
I like that I don't need my husband to fight my battles. I like a man who realizes that I am an equal and can take care of myself and will assist when I need and ask him to.
But then again, when I am part of the problem, he also is strong enough to tell me when I have contributed to a problem and how I can maybe not do that in the future and how to try to make it better.
Neither of us are perfect so we rely on each other to help us improve when we need it.
A really supportive person to me wants to help you be the best you can be and taking responsibility for your own actions is part of that.

I can only imagine if Josh wasn't protective of Andi what some would say....Then again it's who you like in what they get excused for.
Of course! As a woman who has been married 30 years, I expect my husband to have my back. Josh is being judged for standing up for Andi [supposedly], which IMO he should while Nicki is being negatively judged for NOT sticking up for JPG. Go figure! So which is it? Because it's Andi, the evil one, Josh shouldn't feel protective?

Atlanta has a lot of places to do good work. She is not working. She can volunteer her time in many places. She can work at shelters, she could go to soup kitchens, she can help build house with habitat for humanity, and many others.
Activities where she actually helps someone and isn't just dressing up and showing up. And yes, I do these things as well as organize fundraisers while working 60-70 hours a week as a graduate student and did the same while I was in Atlanta as a graduate student.
Again, my opinion. She has endless free time right now. Use it for someone other than herself.

I would have respected if Josh helped Andi learn from some of those experiences not just "protect" her. A little bit of both would have been great.

What?? You haven't been taking your shift hiding in their closet? I'm really upset with you right now, Ash.Ash2214 wrote:We don't live with Andi. How would we know what's she's doing during the day? Does anyone know for certain she hasn't "gotten dirty" with charity?
Seriously though, I can say for myself that nothing some of these Bach people do will ever be "right" for me personally. Josh and Andi are not in that list for me though
Big: You know, Manhattan has a lot of beautiful women.
Carrie: What an amazing observation!
Big: But the thing is, after awhile, you just wanna be with the one who makes you laugh.
