She probably freaked out after the date when she realised she had fallen completely for him and he was going to do on his date with Trisha and she wouldnt see him again until the proposal day. This freakout maay have caused him to break it off with Trish hence the reason there is no preview of Trisha's date

Stop guys.  It's April saying she wants to leave and can't do this anymore. Makes no sense to say that Tim is letting her go early.  

If he was letting her go early, there would be no reason why she would say 'I want to go home...I can't do this anymore.

Yup. She's clearly saying this because she's the one freaking out. I'm not sure if she actually ends up leaving or not, but if she does leave, by her words it's pretty clear it's her decision. In all of her blogs she's stated that she really likes Tim, but she's taking the process slow. To be honest, if I was in her position, I'd be freaking the heck out too if I knew there was a possibility I'd be getting engaged to a guy I knew for less than two months.

You have it right, Tiger. We could speculate forever in what is causing April's upset. I've also thought Tim's VO of "I came here to find love & that's gone now" was spliced, but maybe it's not.

I've said all along that I think the path from HTD's to the end isn't going to be traditional & this could play out in several different scenarios. However, I do think that even if April is upset & says she wants to leave, she doesn't. There might even be a period of time where Tim believes she is going home, but she'll come back to him. She's just too invested to actually really leave.

The bolded is the crux of the problem for me and for a long time now I've be wondering how it'll play out. April is invested but I also think that she wouldn't commit herself to an engagement if she wasn't 100% sure. April presents herself as being methodical and cautious and this whole experience must overwhelm her. I just can't see her having come out of a 7 year relationship that ended badly and jumping  into one where she's known the guy for only a couple months (and another girl in tow to boot). No matter how open minded she is, there's a lot of doubt in my mind that her basic nature would allow her to do that.

Yeah but even if she says - I love you but I want to wait before we get engaged - how does that change anything about the fact that he fell in love with her? They get to go back to Toronto and see where the relationship goes, much as they would if they were engaged. He's not going to fall out of love with her because she's level headed and doesnt want to rush. rr - are you suggesting that she is overwhelmed and dumps him - before the FRC?

When he says "now it's gone" I think it must be because she retreats from him (tells him she cant spend the night with him, or tells him that she needs to reconsider if she can stick around and needs time alone to think). Or she physically leaves. Whatever it is - I firmly believe it's temporary. She either returns on her own, or he finds her and convinces her to change her mind and stick around/come back. jojo - I agree that there are all sorts of scenarios that could happen. But in the end, April will be kissing Tim at the FRC.

rr, I agree with your description & perception of April. She is very pragmatic & level headed. I do, however, think that she'll be there in the end with Tim, even if it isn't an engagement. That could be part of how this show doesn't end in the traditional manner!

April gets the F1 music on each date she has had with Tim so far...

What if the stuff in Moorea is Tim going to her room to tell her that she's not the one and he's telling her there versus her going through the process of rc? That is why she says that she just wants to go home...it's the end of an ITM and she's just done with it all and just wants to go home. Don't know, but it is possible.

Remember, Brad also went to Whit's room to tell her that she's not the one and of course, she tries to hijack the meeting and say it is her that told him.


See, we may of not seen stuff that Tim and Trish talked about...Knowing that she gets really nervous and scared at every RC that she may be eliminated. Where as with April, she's been so confident throughout this. That was Whit's MO last season. Very confident as she was calling the shots in her mind. Bianka on the other hand was nervous and scared of being eliminated at each rose ceremony.


If Trish isn't F1 and Tim told her about how he fell for her a long time ago...I'd say she'd be far more devestated as that info not only was told straight to her face, but it's on camera

That could be. Would that be after jumping off the boat? Is there a s/cap that would indicate this is a possibility or is there anything that made you think this would happen?

That could be. Would that be after jumping off the boat? Is there a s/cap that would indicate this is a possibility or is there anything that made you think this would happen?

We also have the caps of Tim running through the jungle. If he's doing the "go to her room to end it" I don't see him running through the jungle with such urgency. Seems like something more has happened.

^ I forgot about that scene Mr&MrsSmith! Not to mention he looked like he was going to lose it when April said she wanted to go home.

Also, do we think the caps of them jumping off of the boat and then when they're dressed up on the sand about to kiss is from the same day/date?
