Bachelor Canada Season 2 - Screen Caps - Pics - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers* - Discussion #2

Just because I am bored and I truly think that at this time of the season we can learn things from Tim's own words.
This is what Tim either said in VO, ITM's PI etc. right at the beginning of each of the F2 girls. I didn't do it for the entire date but the set up to their date.

Trisha HTD -
"Me & Trish are in a really unique place, because last week in Italy we had" - Tim driving in car~cut~
"am amazing evening together" ~cut~ PI outside in Pink T-shirt ~cut~ Tim driving
"The biggest question I have about Trish is will that magic be sustained."

Well I think it could so easily be said in the opposite too. No way would they leave that there on her if she's F1.

Imho, I disagree. Few people would actually put two and two together since it was just a quick second scroll advert.

BachCanada is in its infancy. As you've said it can't be compared to TBUSA. Because it's so infant, comparing it to only one previous season is terrible data. There's only so mant ways to go about it when there's only one previous example to go by: Either they do the exact same edit to some degree, they do the opposite of the previous season to some degree, they mix it up and do a bit of both.

Just for laughs. .. TBAU, Bachelor Australia for example also had only 2 seasons with the 2nd one just finished a month ago. To sleuthers, TBAU first season the F1 was more hidden. 2nd season F1 was more obvious In fact, they did a very similar thing with engagement ring product placement foretelling what would happen and who the F1 was. The F1 actually tried on a ring but it was so fast only sleuthers SC it. (And many sleuthers said it was too obvious so doubt was created by HTD). Most people said no way... TBUA is not like TBUSA (is not) and that the 1st season of TBAU F1 was a bit more hidden and no way they would leave something like that in or place it that way. Well... ultimately those slethers who said its going to be the girl with the engagement correlation were correct. F1 was indeed the only person seen throughout the season with the engagement ring sponsor. Makes sense from a sponsorship point of view to make it seem more real even if not an edit one.

Once this season is over one will be able to see if they followed the pattern on last season or did the opposite since viewers know the pattern since it was only one season to go by. I will be very surprised if they follow the same pattern of Brad's season. I'm expecting something similar to TBAU 2 season with TBCanada 2 season mixing it up. Excited to see if this is the case. Haha. Either way, great girls, lovely families, and whether Tim proposes or doesn't great season thus far (even though the editing has been not so great, imo).

I think you're right!

Because l like to see both sides I'm going to look for clues that Trish is F1. Keeps myself on me li'l toes. Hehe.

So if Trish is F1 and April F2
- Tim is doing things his own way this season. Brad and Tim himself have stated this time and time again.

- Trish is only girl Tim tells face to face how he feels about her using the word fell. We never see him say to April's face he is falling let alone fell. When he does say falling so hard for April it is precluded by in that moment (April also says in her blog she found herself falling for Tim *in that moment* but she's referring to Tim with her family)

- Trish was told at the end of her HTD by Tim that he fell for her a long time ago. Not just falling but already fell ... past tense and a long time ago.

- Up until the point of Tim telling Trish he already fell for her a long time ago, Tim had not heard Trish tell him she was falling for him. This could go back to their 1:1 date in Tuscany where Tim tells Trish he is scared he might get hurt in the end (he didn't know how she felt until HTD. And his response once she did tell him was to say he had already fallen for her).

- Tim initiates the kiss after he tells Trish he fell a long time ago her. April initiates her goodbye kiss with Tim after she tells him she is falling.

- Tim has consistently said in interviews he doesn't have a type. His type is someone that is happy with herself. Trish is a bubbly and happy person. It could really be that simple. Just being happy. Laughing. Having a good time. Tim talked about how that is the most important thing to him on his TO date.

- Tim talked with Trish's dad on her HTD though this was not shown.

- We've only SC of dates/interaction in Moorea between Tim and April. She seems very upset. It could very well be that she feels that Tim led her on by taking her to F2. She was very confident she would get a rose going into that RC and said she would be surprised not to get a rose. Maybe Tim is talking to April and she doesn't want to hear it and thus doesn't want him to touch her. In the preview of her upset we see her pull away from him. He looks like he feels bad, helpless, guilty, etc possibly?

I've already approached all this from a pro-April F1 perspective and that still holds for me but looking at it from another angle can't hurt and won't change what has already happened. Haha. So it's either April or Trish for F1 as everyone pretty much predicted from episode 1 on here. Maybe Tim chooses no one. Maybe he proposes maybe he doesn't and just commits. Maybe one of the girls says no or leaves. Lots of options. Haha. Not sure the WTA will help any since the focus will be Lisa and Kaylynn. But seeing Tim there should be interesting. Hopefully some new SCs too since those are so few.

On the upset April preview, we see her in one of them saying "I can't do this"...

If we see this in upcoming episodes. .. here's my possible reasons she says this:

1) If April is F1 it could be anything,  nerves,  not feeling crazy in love with Tim to be ready enough to be engaged or proposed to, something other than to do with Tim when she feels pressure to say she loves him or be rushed by producers when she doesn't want to be rushed, not wanting to cry with cameras around, or something else that doesn't effect her F1 result.

2) If April is F2 she could be her saying this because she doesn't want to be broken up with while there are  cameras filming that moment. Especially after opening up on camera already not just to Tim but to the world about her past: parents/childhood and betrayal by 7yr ex-boyfriend. It's why I've said April would be far more devastated than Trish to not be F1. Trish understands ending an engagement as she has done this herself to her ex-fiancé. April has been betrayed by her ex-bf whom she thought she would marry. Other reasons... maybe she justs wants to leave and by default makes herself F2, or another reason l can't think of...

The only explanation I could think of why April would consider leaving or why she's so upset in the upcoming episodes is if she got news a family member was sick or died.  

After watching this week's episode, she completely opened up about her past and even told him she's falling.  The fact that Lisa is also gone and only 2 girls remain should also be a big plus in her mind.  I expect to see a more happy and relaxed April moving forward but we know something goes wrong based on the previews.  

I think April is looking at this process in a mature manner (i.e Her telling Tim on Night 1 "This is not a competition"), I don't think she would feel insecure about Trish at all.

I think it has to be family related..

Or he really was letting her go to spend more time with his F1 Trish.
If it is the case I personally would be heartbroken for her.

I noticed at the RC, April was the only one who did not seem surprise that Lisa was not there. I also find that when April is experiencing really strong feelings she has a tendency to hide or remove herself from in front of the cameras.

I'd like to know what comes first, this:

Yeah jojo. Me too. We know that in Moorea, April says "I just want to go home." And then she gets up and moves away from Tim to a chair or sofa that is across from him and says "I cant do this. Like Oh My God." But we dont know for sure if she really leaves , right? I wasnt following the board for a week or so, and might have missed something. The only other thing that might play into this particular event with April is Tim saying "I came here to find love and now it's gone."
