The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - ATFR - *Spoilers* - Media & Social Media Discussion #2

So I wonder if Blake was willing to continue down the list of Bachelorettes until he found a taker? If he contacted Lisa prior to Louise (and I presume he did) via phone call and then upped the anti to the letter for Louise what would Zoe or Laurina got? Seems to me that his actions seem a little desperate, particularly in Louise's case (IMO). It would appear that he needs someone (anyone) at the end of this 'journey' to validate the franchise and conclude that infact he came looking for love and found it! Just a thought.

There are too many things we don't know to pass harsh judgement imo. He wasn't with Louise at the finale. He had just given her the letter and things were very much up in the air. She's such a great girl, so it's no huge surprise he wants to be with her. They seem like a good fit. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that. Love can be messy, especially when televised with a deadline. I'm happy for them and hoping for the best.

Wow this is so crazy! It just keeps and going and it's been almost a month since the finale!

Actually he was with Louise.  He started talking to her, according to them, two weeks pre finale.

Just had an ahaaaaa moment. Usually with compulsive liars there is always some percentage of truth.... If what a previous post said was true about Lisa deciding she did not want to continue once in final 2, then it makes sense that he truly did not want to hurt Louise because he liked her more and was planning to pick Lisa and planning to ditch Sam. When Lisa broke it off he was left with Sam who was in fact his real number 3. Who knows why he felt obliged to propose, maybe he was getting a bonus from Bunda or was forced to by production team.

And you think she made a decision in that time frame and wanted to go public with it?

Blake's mother said in the Daily Mail article She added: 'They have been seeing each other when they can, not much because she's in Brisbane and he's in Perth.

Carrie said they had met up for the first time in Thailand last Saturday. His Mum's statement sounds like they have seen each other more than once.

Blake just said on the Project he wants to be where Jason Mesnick is now

Lisa said that when Blake called her up initially she was trying to be supportive of him. She also said she always relayed back to Sam when he was in contact with her.

When he asked whether she still had feelings for him and whether she thought they could give it a shot, she told him to get lost and how dare he do that and try to ruin her friendship with Sam. She said if he wanted her, he should have picked her as number 1. She won't let herself be second to anyone.

Did Lisa say that Blake contacted her 'after' the finale aired and asked her about a future together. If so this is after he sent the letter to Louise! The plot thickens

to me it sounded like he contacted her before the finale, like in the early stages of post-show when he had just been engaged to Sam.

Her being 'supportive' of him I took as meaning that she was willing to be a friend to him, and she was understanding of his mental exhaustion post-filming. But it seems he had other motives when he called Lisa up, rather than just having her as a friend to confide in.

But I could be wrong with how I interpreted it! Hopefully someone will post up a link soon. It was a really short segment tonight.
