Don't know if half of what I'm reading is just plain gossip but this season of BachAU is beyond believable. I actually can believe Jess is an escort as she certainly knew how to make good old Blakie feel good!

The he said-she said Saga will continue... because that's the only way to keep people from talking about the real scandal: When did strip club owners become suitable bachelors and contestants have a history of such? As long as we talk about how it all ended we stay off the topic of how did it begin so differently from all other franchise chosen bachelors. Dabbling one thing, occupation another.

ETA: if this was TB USA and the bachelor was a strip club owner and it came out... the franchise would be in ruins.  US media make a huge deal out of scandals like this. (Jason was a father in a non-scandal business... when he did his switcheroo).
Marriage and strippers don't compute in giving even a semblance of credibility to the franchise. Acting, modeling, fame, etc. .. those are  easily understood. It's interesting that more focus has been on female escorts than the bachelor owning a business in the industry.

ETA: I see that the poster above deleted her comment. She said the eye color is wrong.

^^ I also think she looks way skinnier than Jess. Her face is blurred but still it doesn't quite fit to me. If one of them is an escort, I would have guessed Jess, but not from that picture.

Is prostitution legal in AU? That site is pretty explicit on the intention.

The more I think about what you've said, the more convinced I am that you're spot on with this. It really does stem back to bachelor/contestant choice and that's the root of the problem this season has had. Hrmm, hey Shine/Ch10, here's an idea... go find a decent, regular, hard-working bloke that is ready to settle down for the long haul, and toss in 30 lovely women who are only interested in finding love and settling down to a white picket fence + kids + happily ever after. No dodgy/sleazy/questionable pasts/occupations, no ulterior motives or hidden agenda's, just a good old fashioned love story. *sigh*

Guess reality is not good enough for reality TV anymore...

Tania27's comment is still there, it's just on the previous page now, but yeah I wouldn't have picked that was Jess from that picture either. The description is spot on though. And Au$1000 per hour? If it is indeed Jess, I wonder how easily she would have given up those $$'s to become Mrs Garvey?

And yeah prostitution is legal in all states of Australia but you can't loiter or solicit, like on a street corner or whatever. Actual brothels/escort agencies are only legal in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory but they are heavily regulated and the girls have to be registered. (And no, I don't know this from personal experience, I looked it up!! )
