This is totally the clincher. He has not been with a woman (if that's his preference) for at least four months and he is elated (would not matter how exhausted) because he is alone and in bed with the woman he loves and ...... nothing. Distant the whole two days. All that stuff about as he spent time after the show with Sam his feelings changed - best mates or whatever, nothing changed from the time the cameras switched off, whatever the issue it was there immediately. This is such a different scenario to the candid photos (not pr photos) we saw of Des and Chris in the days after the FRC. They looked really at peace, 'satisfied' and were leaning into each other like they were already a close couple. No-one believes what Blake is saying and the more interviews he does the more ridiculous he sounds.

hehe...i'm having an opposite experience...the more i listen to the interviews the more i'm repelled by blake. and the more i catch him in his contradictions. he's either a pathological liar or he's gay and he really wants to believe all the things he tries hard to make a reality
- he said he tried - that he put his all into it- he said he felt lonely -- sam says he switched off the moment cameras switched off
- he said they met up a few times making it sound like it wasn't working and he was learning it wasn't working during these meet up-s - he was saying they weren't allowed to meet up AT all during the post-filming period
- he said he talked to lisa through sam and they chatted about joked about the fact that she was pregnant by him (making him appear still chummy) when the pregnancy rumors didn't pop up till this week around the day of finale - after the breakup
the lie detector test was actually very telling -- the expert substantiated that blake talks around questions and creates his own questions to respond to -- what would motivate him to do that if he wasn't  hiding something

the irony is that sam can't be more truthful ...she is soo honest she probably is saying some things she shouldn't have said...

now more than ever seeing them in action i'm seeing evidence of the kind of person blake is and that i believe sam
about him shutting off. that clearly indicates that he had some kind of false motivations going into it and he allowed the emotions of the moment which are extremely heightened carry him to pretend falling in love. i do think his genuine feelings for her are there but it is in the genuine friend variety of becoming deeply attached to her which allowed for him to feel connected and intimate - i don't understand him & the mindgames but he keeps saying overall the experience was good that's total BS coming from someone who did what he did but deeply cared about her ....its like he almost just sees sam's hurt as collateral damage (also clear in how he talks away her hurting callously & lightheartedly without a hint of remorse and guilt like 'people breakup all the time she'll get over it' attitude)

I'm not sure Blake is able to truly empathise and "connect" (it could be Freudian/overcompensating that he used that word so much) with anyone.

The fact that he switched off straight away just does not make sense. It's either a massive conspiracy ie. Channel 10/Shine so desperate to embed, Channel 10 has just had another disastrous year, they looked at how Jason's season resurrected TB US and decided to create something as controversial. Maybe Blake got paid a bonus for each hurdle he achieved. No FSD that could have made him look bad.

They set Sam up: -
- Life of Sam movie
- 3 dates including the fairytale one
- get Blake to ask if she has found love, can she picture them at end, beg her to stay (we all said he was going off script, maybe it was the script)
-make sure she falls in love and she says so (he also develops some feelings for her, as it appears everyone does)  
-proposes
- when she Sam asks why he is being distant he says she is paranoid
- he breaks up week before the finale so it's kept tight to not leak, no ATFR looks like it was never scheduled, WTA filmed in middle of season, all very different to last year and any other Bachelor schedule
-does interviews where he looks like an idiot and has to lie

or Blake is not able to bond and in fact struggles and runs from it. We haven't heard of any long term/defacto girlfriends?  

I know others here have said we should give him the benefit of the doubt, he was in the bubble etc. I just don't think that fits with what has been described in terms of the immediate switch off.

Let's say that Blake was acting. He got paid, etc and was told to play the game even post ATFR. Maybe the guilt of going through with it and actually falling for Sam was too much for him to live with.

I want to focus on the hidden intimacy we sleuthed between Sam and Blake
- either he or the producers took sex/intimacy of the table (gay or acting/part of script)
- Emusha: you along with others found photos to show the intimacy was downplayed between Sam and Blake
- the yacht in South Africa scene is cut off when he pulls Sam's hip/pelvis towards his own (sexual behaviour)
- strange how Blake's reason to break it off (friends only/not sexual) is what was edited to us looong before the break up. It's as if they edited it to support Blake's future reason to breakup by hiding/cutting off the sexual moments we sleuthed between them!!
- in her interview Sam says she doesn't think he is gay.... because why come on the show. .. but also because of these hidden/edited out sexual moments between them. She said she was looking forward to them fully being together sexually post proposal.
- Blake shutting off immediately would make sense if he was a willing puppet that actually began to feel real feelings for Sam but wasn't supposed to ... not in reality. He told he she sees all of him to his core. I believe this. Even post FRC Sam had said her gut was right about not just being paranoid.
- sex was left off the table (hidden between Sam and Blake) from the beginning and post show. There's a reason for this. Will come out eventually.

The kiss where she is sitting on the bridge railing on htd and in the spa also edited out. Even the men at work are now joining in on Bachelor conversations whereas they have walked away from them. over the previous months.

There's a possible credible reason for this:
It's possible that she had been sized when she went on the Fairytale Date (the ring she tried on was a standard size already so they would go with that
and none of the other girls ever tried on rings on engagement finger). However, she did put weight from that time to the final episode so they may have had to guesstimate the size difference and went with looser rather than can't get it on at all (maybe she didn't put on weight on her fingers but they didn't realise that) so too loose rather than too tight/won't get on.

As to why she hasn't got the ring yet... who knows.
