If Louise cares one ounce about her reputation, she better rebuff Blake, this aint going to end well for either of them, the media will eat them up for it!!!!
haha! i do think louise cares about her reputation too much to be with him ...unless she's completely in love with him and under his spell
(we've learnt it's pretty easy for ppl to fall under his spell)
in anycase...blake wanting a best friend/passionate lover/strong independent woman/attention and affection etc. etc reminds me of his very first answers about what he's looking for...
A girl who’s affectionate, humble and confident, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Knows how to hold a good conversation, can be cheeky and has an awesome sense of humour. Appreciates the little things, isn’t afraid to try new things, and of course is a calming presence for me – while simultaneously making me feel invincible. Think I’m asking for too much?
it's that last piece he was missing with sam i think...to feel "invincible" -- seems to me he goes into it for what he can get out of it a bit...particularly with his behavior at finding this "chemistry" changed but not being willing to work through it...was he even in love with sam AT ALL?????

These lines from the reporat are major:
But while he was adamant he'd met "nobody new", he didn't clarify whether or not he had renewed a romance with someone he already knows.
Exactly what we thought, honestly if it turns out to be Louise, it will be unreal, just don't see her as the sort to do that.
Meanwhile, a heartbroken Sam said told the magazine she could sense her new fiance was not "100 per cent in" their relationship after the show finished, but she still didn't see what was coming.
Impressive that Sam knew he wasn't 100% into it but yet she was willing to give it a shot and she is the one they are calling immature...that's exactly what love is, working on things...I guess Blake did not get the memo on that part of love. I am still my head why Blake got engaged to Sam after feeding her that line of he's never been more sure of anything. Did the guy even see a therapist post show?
It would not surprise me as I said before if it was his ex or even Jess. Jess never wanted a commitment, just the feeling of love. Plus, if the rumours are true that she was a escort+ in Sydney, where Blake stated he was thinking of moving to in an interview, then the signs could lead to her. Private IG and few followers. Jess could play Sam and Sam wouldn't even know. If it is them, or Louise, or his other ex, there will eventually be evidence for it.
It is not me if that's what you meant by that.
dirtystreetpie...not sure if you are able to answer this but have you heard from Blake? Also can you confirm if indeed he tried to re-unite with Lisa or Louise....there are reports Blake was in Brisbane the day of the finale...thanks.

ya!! i mean did he even see anything in sam that was worth fighting for ?!?!!? i mean with a 6 week timeline when did things go bad and how did they try to work on it to a point where it was enough/unsalvagable when they'd supposedly "fallen madly in love" with him picking her over 30 women!
the fact that sam doesn't even know WHY he broke up with her and she was so shocked that she just burst into tears show that "working on it" i.e. communicating about the problem to try to resolve it from both ends has NOT happened...blake saw the problem/wasn't getting what he needed/expectations weren't met and he split!! quite ridiculous when it's a woman he committed to a life with!!!!
p.s.
this is exactly how i feel about blake right now!! Digging a hole!!!
@tasha_amoroso 10m10 minutes ago The Bachelor should just stop talking. Immediately. #digginghole #TheBachelorAU

“Being back in reality, in a long-distance relationship, having unfiltered contact and really getting to know each other more,” the real-estate auctioneer confessed.
“It highlighted that Sam is someone I absolutely love and care for but not in the way of a romantic partner. I realised there was a change over the six weeks – the chemistry changed.
“It didn’t feel like what I expected or hoped for. I had an idea of how we’d be together and I went on my gut instinct. I had fears and doubts like anyone and unfortunately they were realised.

What Blake is referring to here is the change that takes place before proposal (romantic love) and after proposal (commitment love). Reality sets in (whether on a show or in real life) where you have now made a promise and need to deliver on it.
While Blake has lots of experience with romantic love (as he said many times), he doesn't have any clue to what commitment love would even feel like since he has never experienced or had an example shown to him of commitment love.
He just wants the chase (romantic love) and not the settling down (commitment love). The distance apart only highlighted this because it made him confront not being in a bubble.
Romantic/Puppy love.. hello! how many times did we say he had his puppy expression with Sam?). Blake was totally smitten and in love with Sam. He just didn't love her because ultimately, he doesn't know what love (commitment love) even is.
What love truly is has been so distorted since Blake's childhood that his definition of having a partner and not a mommy to share his life with is what commitment love looks like to him.
Sam would be a partner for Blake. Louise would be his mommy.

I gathered the pics were shot in South Africa based on the background....Sam was definitely happy and in love, seems Blake regretted the decision once the proposal was over based on the body language analysis Emusha did on the previous thread.
Still on the proposal and him not denying that he is not dating someone else. So up until 3 weeks ago, he was happy and in love. So the "nobody new" must have entered the picture about that time, oh Blakey....not nice what you did to Sam!!!
what does it look like to you?? to me his body language looks like he's going through buyers remorse -- he absolutely doesn't look like he's over the moon enthralled by his new fiance -- more than anything actually the body language illustrate his commitment phobia... he has a bit of an "sooo when is this putting on a show thing gonna be over" face...how about you guys?

I concur, he definitely don't look like how he was with Sam during the show....he almost looked like he was going through the motions. No wonder Sam could tell he was not 100% into it from the start!!!!

Re: The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - ATFR - *Spoilers* - Media & Social Media Discussion #2
Haha, love when Sam says that "looking hot and being successful will be the best revenge". You go girl! That is exactly how girls respond when they are dumped and trying to process being not good enough. Like I said before, why was Sam looking so much more fragile towards the end the show than when it started? I never chalked that up to being in love, I chalked it up to Blake making her dependent on his love, reassuring her, while he had his harem ladies on the side. ("I don't want to share you anymore"? Blake was used to Sam letting him share himself. He didn't and couldn't let that stop... seems he has a history of this..).
It is why I stand by my claim that, even if he is with Jess (it won't last there) he is best suited for Louise.
She can mother him and he can philander about while she turns a blind eye. I have seen girls like her before. They want to fulfill a role of being the homemaker more than being an equal partner for life. She would be heartbroken if Blake had affairs but would fall for his excuses time after time. Match made in dysfunction heaven.

I thought I read somewhere that his mother has been with someone for many, many years, not sure if she married or lives with the man or how old Blake was when the relationship begun. If it has been a good relationship that should have given Blake some basis for understanding commitment. I don't want to make excuses for Blake not being able to at least work on something where he said he was sure, then not being able to at least work on it for a few months in real life.

I just talked to one of the girls and she confirmed that he was in QLD "the other day" so he possibly was seeing either Lisa or Louise.

Thanks....I would guess Louise at this point.

Thanks so much for clarifying that. Even if he did not treat Blake like a son, assume it was ok for his mother to remain in the relationship.

Did we say Blake probably approached Lisa, hence her sisters before misters tweet. Is his alpha business also in Queensland?
