I agree. People are getting too worked up over "the edit" to actually see what is in front of them. If she doesn't choose JP after the things she said during the HK date I will be very surprised.

Maybe you are right. When I come here and read the comments, I remember how these two are with each other and no amount of editing can change that. Although TPTB can sure try!

Did he really "storm out" of the suite or is he leaving for the group date?

(The reason I ask is if JP did indeed get up and storm out then how come none of the guys seemed fazed that he just up and left the suite. The only guy that even gazes towards his direction is Dino. Everyone else continued with the conversation. Wouldn't Ben have said something like "What's up with JP." or the other guys said "This must be really getting to him" or something along those lines. I do think he did get up and leave the conversation to collect his thoughts, but I'm not convinced that it was bad as it was edited.)

JP, you know, when I was there, he was definitely, definitely falling for her. I wasn’t to that point yet. We were just really getting to know each other. It came out. He became very, very cranky and all that stuff, especially with Ben on his overnight date. It didn’t bother me that Ben was on an overnight date. I mean, we’re all going to have an opportunity with Ashley and when [Ben] walked in and we were calling him “The 24 Hour Man.” I mean it really — I mean everybody saw that JP stormed out. Instead of kind of sitting there and, you know, talking about it and taking it like a man, he had to storm out. So it really didn’t bother me at all that Ben came in the next day. Not at all.

I can't stand that "take it like a man" garbage. Perhaps Lucas would have liked JP to "man up" and put his fist through the wall (or someones chest) instead? An emotionally mature man (like JP) who is good at managing feelings will walk away from the situation that causes his negative feelings to escalate. He will find ways to calm down and then be able to express these negative feelings without hurting anyone or saying something he will later regret. To sit there and "man up" (like what Lucas would probably do) would simply cloud one's judgment and bad choices.

Don't you love how all the "fake men" on this show are awesome and mostly all involved with great women, while all the "real men" are whining and gossiping like little girls with each other? Shocking.

When did he say this? I've only heard him say-- I'm not leaving, I'm in it for the long haul, you'd have to force me out (paraphrasing)
