It just goes to show how fake this show is and how big Editing plays into the storyline -- I wonder what the guys thought watching the whole "storming out" scene when they were actually there and saw it happen in real life lol no wonder past contestants (like CL) think the show is such a big joke

Did he really "storm out" of the suite or is he leaving for the group date?

(The reason I ask is if JP did indeed get up and storm out then how come none of the guys seemed fazed that he just up and left the suite. The only guy that even gazes towards his direction is Dino. Everyone else continued with the conversation. Wouldn't Ben have said something like "What's up with JP." or the other guys said "This must be really getting to him" or something along those lines. I do think he did get up and leave the conversation to collect his thoughts, but I'm not convinced that it was bad as it was edited.)

Nice catch cupcakes! Can you analyze the continuity of the "looking daggers" scene. Maybe Ben ribbed him and JPs look was in his response to something Ben said and not some random psycho look as presented on the show.

as far as I recall Ben didn't even address JP - he was talking about his date to the guys - if Ben did rib JP they didn't show it. If anything Ben was very non-descript about the overnight, even making it clear they didn't stay in the same room.

I think JP is wise and has a lot of pride, and while he visibly is not happy about this girl he feels he loves spending all night with another man - he has pride, and isn't going to act like a lunatic, and he didn't either. So, any ideas of "dangerous jealousy" are coming from the viewer's own thoughts and maybe experiences, because in no way was he causing a scene, being violent, or dangerous. It is kind of silly to even go there - they showed a man in love with Ashley and he was adorable how he told her his feelings - watch it again, he is just so overcome with LOVE for this girl - he is going crazy with love and healthy jealousy. I dated the indifferent man - no PDA (he didn't believe in it) and "trusted me thoroughly" while he was in to his own life - I never felt so alone in my life. My husband is more JP like - he cares, he adores me, he cherishes me and at one NY Eve party when a drunk guy tried to make the moves on me (gross!), my husband was really upset. No, he isn't angry or violent - it is normal. I love him the same way and am jealous when I think someone at work is flirty with him. Should I not be? So, this is just one perspective. Making JP out to be some dangerous psycho from what we've seen is really odd to me. It was all so darn cute seeing him all worked up over Ashley. I sure hope she picks him, or the sadness at the FRC will be palpable. Plus - just foreshadowing - like most F2's, they are also angry at that point - feeling they have been lead on. I'm sure JP would be angry too - like, "WHAT? What was all that passion and what were those promises for if you weren't even going to pick me?" Who wouldn't be mad?
This is my take on it all - I realize you all might think much differently. We see things as we are - right? My experiences in love and life make me connect to JP - and I think he is incredible! I really bet I'd feel the same about Ben, I just can't get a handle on his humor or personality - I feel like they hardly show Ben! Which makes me suspicious that he in fact could be F1. I don't care who Ashley picks - I hope she is happy. But, I sure do love JP! Like I said before, it is probably my mid-life crisis working me in to a frenzy over a reality tv show -good thing I can be on here anonymously - ahem - this could be embarrassing if those in my world here found out my secret obsession! HA!

Wonderful post and welcome! I totally agree with you, especially that trying to prove that JP is a dangerous psycho seems to be an odd obsession to have. Unlike posting on this board, which is a perfectly normal obsession :laughingoutlou , and involves no caloric consumption to boot! Post away!!

I can and do believe that TPTB will go to ANY lengths to get their storyline across.

After re-watching their HK date, I was struck again by how many ways she essentially told him he was the F1. Of course she had to phrase it all sorts of different ways so as not to out-right say "I'm going to pick you in the end." Then, less than a week later, she's back on other dates, some even overnight. No wonder the guy was freaking out! :P

This isn't even the area where they are sitting and talking when he "storms out" LOL I was trying to find a cap of the actual entrance to the suite... I think it has double doors with a great big landing. So did he even storm out or just go potty/get more breakfast and then come right back and sit down.
