I was unspoiled for the first 5 epis and picked Nick for F1.... The connection between Nick and Andi was so strong to my eyes that even after I read the spoilers I called Nick for F1.
YEP, all in the eyes of the beholder..

Just think about it leave Nick and Andi out of it..... How creepy would that be? After you broke it off, it's not like she didn't break it off she did..... I don't know, it would be frightening and strange to me.....
I think it's very hard to imagine this situation in RL... where you sleep with 2 fiancée hopefuls in the space of one week and then get engaged to one. Nick was in pain, I don't think wanting to speak with Andi was out of line.

Another thing I was thinking about if my guy had an ex and she continually made attempts to get in touch with him knowing that he was with me I wouldn't be a very happy camper I don't know of any woman who would be comfortable and happy with that situation....

The unspoiled thread here was almost unanimous in thinking it was Josh. I think that speaks to the"educated" viewer. Maybe those who fall for producer tricks would have seen things differently.
If we are giving Nick the benefit of the doubt that he really fell for the producers'lies that Andi was still interested in him, shouldn't we extend the same courtesy to Andi that she believed that Nick was acting on his own and not just being forced to harrass her by the producers? Not to mention that his
behavior on social media supported it?

I question the word "continually." If we take Chris H.'s word, it was twice. If we take Andi's word, it was never.
But I don't want to argue the point. I'm not nearly as young or cute as you are, and I'm certainly not posting a picture of myself to prove it!
According to another recent post, I guess I'm also "uneducated" and "fall for producer tricks."

But this isn't real life. And maybe I have compassion, but yes, when I broke up with my boyfriend of four years in college and even though I knew he cheated on me, I still talked to him after we broke up. We both had things to say.
I had a guy who I talked to for about a month before we met in person. There was no physical chemistry, so I didn't want to date him, but I had the courtesy to talk to him about it, because we had developed a relationship of sorts before we met in person.
Why is asking for a little compassion such a big deal?
I think if it is an accelerated enough time line to get engaged then why not enough to have feelings you still want to work out, especially if you are told that the person you cared for might not be so happy with their choice.
Now seriously, I need to stop talking about this, since none of us are going to change our minds.

If Andi realized that, isn't it reasonable that Andi might have understood that Nick was also being manipulated by TPTB and maybe come out and play the AFTR as the nice woman who was sorry he was still heartbroken instead of being so cold. I understand her anger, but again, as a smart woman, if you want the public on your side, usually compassion is much more well received than coldness or anger. Some gentleness on her part to start with would have made Nick and his declaration look bad. Instead her anger/coldness made it a debate instead of him just being a jerk.
Nick had to play the TPTB game, just like she did. Her understanding of this, IMO, would have served her in showing something softer instead of coming out hard. Yes, I do compare her to Meredith, who had directly told Matthew she would be honored to get a ring from him and Ashley with Ben. Both those women came out a little bit compassionate for the men who they dumped. Very few blamed them afterwards.
Just for the sake of accuracy in this ongoing conversation, Sean has said that he got Emily's number from a mutual acquaintance, called her and left a message. She never called him back.
Thank you. I only heard that he had talked to Emily after taping. I may have misunderstood.

Let me clarify what I meant since I see it was taken wrong. I was speaking of only UNSPOILED viewers. As far as I'm concerned, everyone who posts on this board falls into the"educated" category; ie, educated about the show and on the lookout for producer tricks. I don't think it's a coincidence that unspoiled posters here all saw through the edit and were sure it was Josh. I suspect the spoiled here who thought it was Nick might have been partly influenced/motivated by wishful thinking and by wanting RS to be wrong JMO, didn't mean to offend.

I was both of those things. Plus I thought Andi was not very nice to Josh, so I wanted him to wake up and realize she wasn't worth the effort. She was less of the bratty diva with Nick. After she turned like that to Nick, I would have really liked both of them to dump her.

I have to give credit to Momma Murray--it was her clever sm diarrhea that had me convinced her son was going to be the winner.
