Look, you all 'know' her better than me, so I trust your judgment re: whether she'd be a good match for Nick... but I imagine Nick with someone who's a little 'brighter.'  ???? but what do I know???

I'm not Mura but just want to say that Sharleen is very bright, in fact she couldn't "dumb down" enough for the show. I think she & Nick would hit it off but it's probably too awkward with her being friends with Andi.

ITA with how bright Sharleen is...way to smart for most of what goes on with this show!

The biggest friendship surprise is that Nikki has stayed friends with Andi (and I am a Nikki fan). Nikki is clearly still with Juan Pablo so they must be the real deal. I can't imagine staying friendly with someone who publicly bashed my boyfriend to the extent that Andi bashed JP ... even if it was all for the sake of her getting the lead role. Not nice.

Nick says he values people who are genuine and that sure seems to apply to Sharlene.

 

It is interesting that Nikki stays friends with Andi, even though Andi really blasted JPG on his show, creating negative media hoopla for JuanPa, and for Nikki by association. Nikki seems to have let it go. She's being mature, and kind, and doing the right things to soften the public image blow that JP took (which ironically, Andi contributed to). This as compared to Andi and Josh's treatment of Nick after the show.......

maybe the vid i posted was not the best interview of Shar. But i'd think anyone could check out Shar's WTA segment to grasp the idea of who she is. There was a hilarious Q by CH asking her why on the show she often wished she was 'dumber'   . Her answer was because she tends to overthink everything :P. (ring a ding? ). She still managed to show her ' flaws' in term of this crazy show rather than bragging/implying her intelligent is above the fellow contestants and/or the lead. She has said that her connection w JPab was missing the 'celebral connection'. .

ITA with NR once saying Shar is as bright as (if not more than) MeandI but with more 'Fluid' personality. Added to that IMO she is way more compassionate and has a softspot for children, art and culture. (just as Nick). too funny that the girls on the show once talked about Shar's dream guy (as she told them) as intelligent and nerdy :P.

I guess My idea of the great ending of #OperationPandas is the Pandas/Sharnick get together in Shar's fav city, NYC.. while Nick get promoted to SalesForce NYC office there..  . A silly matchmaker can only hope, right?   

btw NR, very spot on observation about Shar vs Kelly on JPab's gay comment   (i just rewatched the WTA so i concur totally ). She and Renee were 2 girls from that season who had nothing bad to say about JPab. The fact alone, speaks volume about their admirable characters  :Nod: . Any guy would be lucky to end up with Sharleen

From what was shown of her edited self, NO she isn't the "bubbly" type. She was understated - no funny faces or grand gestures. She does have a big smile and a big laugh but the cameras were more focused on the "high energy" type contestants which doesn't seem to be her style.

Yes, it is surprising that Nikki maintained her friendship with Andi. Perhaps because Nikki understood how TPTB can fabricate a great deal of the show's drama? But Andi seems unable to give Nick that same benefit of the doubt?

Also, I watched JPG's season, and quite frankly don't understand why everyone refers to it as a disaster of a season. There was the Andi driven drama at the end and the Clare drama at the end, but there is ALWAYS some kind of drama on every season. And, the fact that JP and Nikki are still together as a couple is actually one of the more successful couples, right? I will laugh my a$$ off if Nikki and JPG stay together longer than Andi and Josh do!

Holy cow - she is really accomplished.  I had no idea.  Very impressive.  The photos are beautiful as well.  How is she still single?

She works on two continents, rehearses alot then performs evenings, travels, and has been career driven.  At 30, I'd say she is fairly typical of someone who is dedicated to and passionate about her career.  She did say she had a long term relationship but it didn't work out so she has been open to the idea but just hasn't found someone.  Also, since her season aired, she has moved back to NYC and hopes to find good work in the US but said she is starting from the ground up here. (She did a great interview for an opera type mag but I'm not sure where to find it.)

Again, on her season she always talked about needing a "cerebral" connection and she wants her views to be in common with her mate.  She gave the example of "equality".  Sounds like she is done with the casual dating scene and looking for a relationship that could have long term potential.  Instead of calling her picky, I would say she is just self aware.  She knows what she needs and wants.  

I think the reason why we're having a bit of fun speculating on her and Nick being a possible match, for friendship or beyond, is because in her Bachelorette blog she was an obvious admirer of many of his qualities despite the bad edit.  Basically, she chose to be his advocate.  She seemed to have a great understanding of his strengths/motivations and some of his family members appeared to agree as they followed and retweeted her blogs. Also, she herself is very impressive. A woman of substance.
