Me too! I want him to show the viewers, the real Nick and not the Nick the negative comments the magazine's write to make profit. He will be speaking from his heart, he'll be humble and very sensitive to the ladies feelings. Give him a chance to travel the world, and a chance to fall in love.

Besides, he's had his fair share of the villain edit, it will be someone else's turn, it always is.

I just worry with all the support he is getting that the TPTB might be riding the wave of his current popularity and end up asking him.  I really, really don't want him to do it and have them mess with him and his edit again.  He may think he can change the way the show is but this TPTB we are speaking of and I don't trust them at all.    

Yes!! He needs to follow in the way of the beautiful and sweet Chris Lambton and the beautiful and knuckle bitingly sexy Roberto! Now for my open letter.

There are LOADS of beautiful women out there. Smart, beautiful women. Caring. Funny. Compassionate. Kind. You've shown the world who you are and you are pretty darn awesome. The right woman will find you. She might be in Bachelor Nation or she might be in your own backyard. Or even that pretty woman behind you at Chipotle or wherever you like to get your burrito fix.

If you want to continue with your career in the technology field, you cannot do Bachelor. If you are planning to switch fields and open your own business or write a book or get into broadcast, well ... maybe. But I still rather you not do the show if your only reason is to find a wife.  

If you want to do another reality show, grab JJ or Brian or Marquel and do Amazing Race.

Amen to this. Sorry, Nutty, I am too much a fan to see him put himself through this show again. I prefer that he step away from this franchise with his head held high and not allow himself to sucked in to this machine again. He should have no trouble meeting the right girl when the time is right. I don't necessarily agree that his true love will show up if he's the bachelor either. Selfishly, I don't think I can handle all the naysayers if he did get the gig. Like I said, he should use what he learned from this experience and put it to use in the real world - not the reality world.

I know what you all mean, and I agree, it is a gamble for him to do the show. But if he ever would, could you imagine?? I wouldn't have time to work!! I'd have to have shoulder surgery again to be off of work for 2 months!! (I was off all through Sean's season after having shoulder surgery). We sure would have fun!!

Love all of the thoughtful posts. I kind of like Nick where he is now. I don't know if a bachelor gig would be a good thing. There is no guarantee that he would get an edit we would expect.

That's what I am afraid of. What if they made him unlikeable seeming or took away his best qualities so some of us here started to dislike him. Just too many what if's for me to get on board. At least with Ari or Chris - I really don't have any feelings toward either so I can just watch the show and relax. I just prefer to see Nick on SM and be happy with that.

Still dread of what is ahead.

ETA: Still support Nick but would rather not have be the Bachelor because of the dread I outlined. I would not be surprised - remember I came up with a list of clues stating why I thought he might be - but I was actually starting to relax the last couple of days and now, I am back to worrying....

I still feel the same, I wouldn't mind seeing him.  Like I would do if he is not nextTB, I will support him with whatever is next for him or what he thinks is best.  However, I hope he learned his lesson that strengths can become weaknesses in the show - I hope he doesn't pull a BenF.  That being said, are there any leads who he can emulate?  Sean perhaps?

I am afraid his detractors are going to say he staged the AFTR to get public sympathy. That I don't want for him. I am in the camp that blames TPTB for Nick's edit & all that went down at the AFTR. Post show he has proven that he is a sincere & genuine guy & I want him to continue to ride that wave. He will find his true love in no time IMO

I think it was always going to be Nick. He has too much star power to resist. If he does it he wants to and I can not wait to watch!
