There you go, stirring the pot.     Chris Viall also favorited Sharleen's tweet.  On the one hand, that shows that the Viall men are mindful of women's issues.  Chris previously retweeted Sharleen's tweet on body image & aging. That was when the show was still airing.

Hmm, during JPG's season I really liked Sharleen (my fav).  Her only evident flaw was her indecisiveness.  That flaw played out through every epi she was in.  She was very much inside her own head.  That trait makes it a bit hard to imagine that she would be bold enough to strike out on her own, in a way "defy" her Bach social circle, to meet Nick.  Hard to say, though.  She also is very much her own person.  

Nick and Sharleen certainly have a lot in common from what we've seen.  Both esoteric, sensual, highly intelligent, witty, quietly passionate, self-motivated, quirky, articulate, speak their mind.  I imagine if she was really interested she could easily visit Chi-town to stay with some of her show girlfriends who live there and finally meet the "rebel" she wrote so eloquently about.  I really think the ball needs to be in her court on this one.  Nick deserves a woman who is willing to put forth effort. "Opposites attract" doesn't really apply to their personality types.  They are the exception to the rule.  Too different from the "norm".  They are each enhanced by someone like themselves.

At the very least, they would make good friends.  

   Fun to speculate as I really admire both of them.

ITA NR. it always fun to match making our favs!   thanks for the heads up. I went back and saw Chris V faved the same tweet . He has faved and RTd Shar's blog...and i think one of them is about how refreshing Shar's blog was, as one of the few blogs who didnt paint Nick as the Villain. Hence, i always thought the Vialls had very fond impression about Shar. and as Chloep told us, the family/Vialls is on board with Operation Sharnick   

what i admire most about Shar is that she could see right through the edit to understand Nick and 'relate' to him, his feeling and experience  . I think anyone would be lucky to have someone like that IRL, let alone on account on the same crazy experience. Yes i do agree with the common traits you have mentioned, NR, for both of them. But i guess you missed one thing that stood out to me : Overthinking/analyzing anything.  :halo: 

So funny that Shar had mentioned herself that she had sleepless night overthinking about the show (cough2..the accused of-being- 'strategist' guy on MeandI's season...). and that she too, had a hurdle regarding the TIME or pace in this kind env, just like Nick (see this below video)

Now, i still cant believe that MeandI had used that excuse to send Nick home.. So lame..IMO :P. Well, i guess her lost, somebody else's gain (cough2 the pretty Panda who shares the sameoveranalyzing trait?......  ). To me, they seem like two peas in a pod  :cutesmile!: .Absolutely agree that they can be really good friends at the very least. Better yet, an i can-get-you-totally couple with similar traits like Chres or SeanCat  

My only hesitation /concern for them to hit it off is only regarding Kelly, whom known has been RTd some nasty things about Nick, made me think Kelly has some negative opinions about Nick. This is why its hard for me to imagine Shar as the one who should play the ball on her court with Nick. I wish Nick, encouraged by the Vialls can take the initiative instead. If pops Viall, Chris, or bro James , or any of Nick's inner circle read this, pls make it happen

Look, you all 'know' her better than me, so I trust your judgment re: whether she'd be a good match for Nick... but I imagine Nick with someone who's a little 'brighter.' ???? but what do I know???

Boy you are making me wish that Sharlene had been the Bachelorette ! Now that would have been a fantastic season to truly enjoy as you just know that she and Nick would have been a great match. Actually, I bet the final two might have been Nick and JJ.

Interesting point re: friendship vs choosing who to date.

I watched JPG's season and something really stood out.  At the WTA, Kelly T. was very upset about homophobic remarks JPG had made in an interview.  Kelly's dad is gay.  Sharleen defended, not homophobic views, but JPG's character in general by saying they had had several convos that didn't air that showed him to be very much in support of equality and diversity.  Despite Kelly and Sharleen (this friendship is closer than with Andi) having a difference of opinion in this case they have remained friends. Sharleen even went out to dinner with JPG & Nikki the night of their ATFR.  She doesn't seem to fear controversy at all which is part of her intrigue. This MTA issue was a much bigger and more personal subject than the idea of "Nick".  
As to Sharleen and Andi, they spent time together while on the show then she may have seen Andi when she went to visit Kelly or Andi may have already left for filming the Bachelorette.  Their's is a very short history and may be expendable.

The biggest friendship surprise is that Nikki has stayed friends with Andi (and I am a Nikki fan). Nikki is clearly still with Juan Pablo so they must be the real deal. I can't imagine staying friendly with someone who publicly bashed my boyfriend to the extent that Andi bashed JP ... even if it was all for the sake of her getting the lead role. Not nice.

Nick says he values people who are genuine and that sure seems to apply to Sharlene.

I admit, you have to be thick-skinned to visit other threads. Many times I delete what I wrote and decide not to post on the discussion thread. I don't want to start a debate when everyone's mind is set and no one will change his/her opinion, and I love our mods, especially GA, too much to make their work harder. The other thing I have to admit, maybe because English is not my native language, lots of times I have no idea what people are talking about, and what their main points are? Maybe I need to take a reading comprehension course?
That being said, from time to time I still go visiting the other threads. I don't know what's wrong with me !! :shocked!:
