I just worry with all the support he is getting that the TPTB might be riding the wave of his current popularity and end up asking him.  I really, really don't want him to do it and have them mess with him and his edit again.  He may think he can change the way the show is but this TPTB we are speaking of and I don't trust them at all.    

Am I the only fan that wants him to do it!?! I mean, if he wants it, I want it for him (and me - and lots of Nick on tv and interviews and on and on). My only reservation is all the time I will be spending on this board during filming and airing! I mean Chris - no thank you, so boring I could sleep through the whole season and Arie has hooked up with every woman on the planet.

NO, I do too!! I think it would be a great opportunity for him, and for this franchise to have a guy who is so humble and honest. Viewers will love the sweet normal down to earth guy!

Although I would LOVE to see Nick on my TV, I don't think I can take  the negativity that's bound to come. Most comments under the US article are negative. Besides, I need a life! It will be extremely fun to spend all my time here with my fellow Nick chicks, but I don't think my family will understand why I need to check this board every five minutes. Lol
Like some other people mentioned, Survivor or Amazing Race will be great for Nick, I think the chance is slim, because they are CBS shows. What other ABC shows will be good for him? No DWTS please! Thus guy can't dance!

I don't want him to do TB but if it's offered to him and he decides to do it then I wouldn't mind at all seeing him on my TV screen Monday nights.

US Weekly says Nick is the frontrunner for the Bachelor.  Say what?!

I don't want Nick to do TB for my own selfish reason. I would rather be watching the show, with him, right next to me on my couch....instead of him being actually ON the show.  HOLY COW, I am 48 years old and don't think I have fan girdled since dam near Sean Cassidy, do I need therapy?.  


I think that Nick is just so sensitive, ( being the elder of so many siblings, and the love he has for them) that he would actually , OMG, I can't believe I'm gonna say this...but I think he would "be there for the right reasons!" I think he is so smart, sensitive and as humble as Sean was, just a little more liberated with a very tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. I believe this is the first time I ever gave being a cougar a consideration!!

 :bigsmile:  I thought I would of liked Josh a bit better from the start, when his bio came out....but no way, in my eyes...Nick is the total package. Josh totally is into his family, but he seems more of a hanger on regarding his little bros success.

You made me   the fangirling and cougar.  I'm also up there with you in age and yes  I've also been fangirling on Nick too much lately.    Although, the word cougar never crossed my mind.

I am going by memory here, but the poster said Nick was seen flirting with someone who looks like Andi before ATFR. I was wondering if that was this Donnie girl, if it was true? Anyone knows what kind of job she has?

i don't think the twitter stuff with the Chi girl indicates anything one way or another. I don't see a resemblance btw her and Andi. as for US Weekly well... Consider the source I never want my favorite contestant to be a lead on this show so won't be upset when they announce Chris or Arie as the next Bachelor. if by some crazy circumstance Nick is announced as TB then of course I will watch and enjoy snd support, I just don't trust TPTB....

On Monday, she tweeted about being disappointed that she cant stay away from BIP. Its like hot Cheetos, they are bad for you but oh so good. Hmmmm

Nick favors at least a couple of her tweets every week. Also on Monday she tweeted: just sitting here at work eating peanut butter out of a spoon.

So she mentioned peanut butter and Cheetos both the same day.
