That's awesome Elan but your production team does such an awesome job of sucking us in to these people's lives and their love stories, then we're not supposed to care about them afterwards?

Elan must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today. Since when does he care about anyone's opinions? And if his show is getting talked about because lots of people have opinions, isn't that a good thing for TPTB.

Well, blow me over with a feather!  I sure didn't see this one coming and was shocked when I heard it on the radio 'news' this morning (that's how out of the loop I've been).  

Scrolling through some of the comments, I read that the yellow ribbon came off - I guarantee this is when bad things were going down.  Even if it frayed, he could've put on a yellow bracelet or something to take its place.  The fact he didn't care enough not to means...he didn't care.  

I'm bummed - I really liked them both together and thought they'd make it but, to be honest, I wondered why they weren't included on the Rose Bowl Parade float.  I understand spending time with family but how many times would you be invited onto a float?  I guarantee they weren't on it b/c TPTB knew what was going on behind the scenes.  And, sorry to say, but their lasting 'til premiere is part and parcel with their contract (IIRC).  I'm just surprised they only lasted 2 short days after that.  

Take heart all - they'll both bounce back.  MM once again sounds like the voice of reason.

What does their contract say about lasting until the premier?

Who knows how it is exactly spelled out contractually. Someone may have an old contract. Maybe no one.  It used to be that the couple kept quiet about a break up until TPTB gave them a green light. That green light was generally at the same time something positive with the franchise was happening, that way the negative break up was glossed over from the positive news.
Things change over the years. Again, only those privy to recent contracts might know.

I don't know why and could very well be wrong of course but I have a feeling this couple will try one more time. No idea if we will even know about it but if only for pride sake, I can see them working on it once more. Josh, I know, never planned to propose twice and Andi IMO would now feel like a failure that she couldn't make the relationship work. I could see them letting the dust settle and start talking again. They would love to say they got over the hurdle and made it work in the end.

You have no idea how much I hope and pray that you a right. I would just love to see them try this again because I will always believe that they were meant to be together.
Maybe its easier for some of you guys to get over this because you have had life and relationship experience that I don't. Maybe I'm too naïve and have a too idealistic view of relationship but I cant help it and I just want to see them happy and in love with each other.

I am with Ananda, I am a grandmother and I just can't get over this breakup either. We are all here for each other and time will help us. There is always hope and we have to keep the faith. Like Carrie Underwood says "Jesus take the Wheel".

Hi everyone, just signed up to this forum, but been lurking here post Jodi proposal. SO DEVASTATED Josh & Andi broke it off, and shocked how sudden it was. I cannot imagine either of them with anyone else and reallyhope they get back together!
I believe they both love/loved each other deeply. Watching their love unfold on tv, Iwas mesmerized. Josh is Andi's type, but he's the most opposite to MY type - you know Nick would fit that description better (or rather someone more LIKE him, not Nick himself he was always douchy to me) yet here I am nerdy girl rooting for the tough sportsguy. Of course Joshissomuch more than that. But when something you don't particurarly like normally catches your eye - especially to this extent you know that one thing catching your eye can't be totally based on your bias. Somerging rare developed between these two, so much that my belief in TRUE love's existance mightbe seriosly compromised if these two don't get back together!
(Oh sorry if.my introductory post developed into an essay. Also sorry for the bad spelling- typing on a phone.)

Completely agree with you. Initially I never thought that i would like a sporty guy either since they're not my type either but after seeing Josh, I want someone who is exactly like him and would treat me the same way that Josh treated Andi. I agree with you when you say that they love /loved each other deeply and i do hope that they get back together, if they can't be together, true love doesn't exist. I have never seen chemistry and love like what Josh and Andi have so hopefully we'll all pray that during this time they will realize how much they love and miss each other and decide to try again. I saw this on Twitter and hope that they can remember it too, in Ghent thry danced to Love is war - LOVE IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

I would love to see that happen.  Their chemistry  and the love for each other  was undeniable.  Maybe they will both realize the mistakes they made and work them out.  Sometimes time apart works wonders when you see what you have lost.  They each lost their best friend (each other)  in all of this also.

Me too, but at this point I think they tried working it all out as much as they could. Hopefully they stay true to their word on staying friends no matter what happens. Will always be a fan of theirs, together and separate and I cherish all the memories they gave all of us. They were one of a kind.

Oh Linds you made me cry again Now i realize how hard breakups are. I know that they would have tried but I just want them to give it one more chance, out of the public eye. One of Andi's resolutions is to never give up and to love harder and i hope she remembers this and they try to make it work.
