Sorry, but I find this article and many others that make the debate about gender bias simplistic and off the mark.
The real issue for me in ATFR is not about whether it's more acceptable for women than men to feel used after sex without love ...but about Nick trying to understand why Andi had sex with him if she knew how important the intimacy was to him and was not in love with him

THANK YOU!!! I've seen so many articles wanting to turn this into some deep, complex referendum on feminism/gender bias or whatever and I'm sorry, for me personally, and maybe that's my being too simplistic, this issue is simple. She knew how he felt, he was honest with her and more importantly she knew how he felt about them having sex and knowing that, knowing she was not in love with him, had no intention of picking him, she still slept with him. It was a selfish and callous thing to do...end of story.

Now, that out of the way, I will focus on the shallow and say my goodness Nick looks good. He was working that plaid jacket and jeans, chucks combo yesterday and damn did he fill out that henley coming out of GMA. It just goes to show how looks are so subjective because it baffles me when I would read all the comments about Nick not being hot during the season because he is so the guy I would gravitate towards at a party/event/etc.

So traditionally, Josh would be my type. But I fell in love with the over analytical, quirky, nerdy, self-aware, skeptical Nick. So now I think he's the cutest thing since white rice (I'm Asian). Yeah!

I agree Nick is soooo hot!!
Although I am frustrated by the media 'redirect' in the end it gave us more sexy Nick working his "plaid jacket and jeans, chucks combo" as you note.  
I also think it gave Nick a better opportunity to get over what happened on Monday night with some significant media support ... and for this I am pleased.

I agree. My beef with Andi isn't that she had sex with both men, but rather how she played with Nick's heart. If she knew Josh was it from day one she shouldn't of had sex with Nick. She come out at the ATFR could as ice. My guess she did that to appear Josh, because I get a jealous vibe from him.  I think her feelings were stronger for Nick than she led on, because she knew Josh was watching backstage. If she would have been honest with her feelings, the comment by Nick wouldn't have been made. Since she told Josh it was him from the beginning, she couldn't let her true feelings for Nick to be known.

I can't help but think of her comment on liking mind games. checkmate for Nick.   

I said this on the discussion board. It wasn't that he had some virginal or deeper meaning on sex. He said on E! There's sex and there's making love. Since she couldn't (or wouldn't) tell him her feelings saying instead, "I wish I could tell you things back" he relied on her actions. She would be stupid not to understand that, so therefore she lead him on. Courtney described sex with Ben in the FS as reverse cowgirl style    while Nick mentions the emotional, physical, mental connection coming together that night as an act of making love. (no pun intended :giggle: ) Based on her giddy, intense description to her sister at MTP I think that's what did happen so the ending remains a mystery for me.

I think it's ridiculous that Reality Steve criticizes all these contestants for the feelings they have and not getting over someone when the guy is almost 40 and single and doesn't date.  What does he know about relationships?  Like, really?

The issue to me is that in the unnatural bach world, the lead has all [or most of] the power in the relationship. In that power position, Andi's actions were selfish and thoughtless at best - and narcissistic, egotistical and mean-spirited at worst. She needs to own that instead of being p*ssed that he told the world they had sex.
