The topic of Advocare has been initiated on the forum. I thought I would share just a sampling of things I have found regarding this product.
Like anything else, informed decisions regarding any product before endorsing/buying is a good idea. Advocare does not receive FDA scrutiny or approval as it is considered a supplement.

Yikes. Andi has already lost so much weight post-atfr, I cannot imagine her on laxatives for 10 days or whatever more. Scary. Not to mention all the 15 year old fans who worship Jodi that are about to beg their parents to let them sign up for this too. I love them but yeah, this is a little concerning.

Very interesting reads. I wonder if Andi and Josh even used these products themselves before deciding to sell them or are they paid sponsors?

Any kind of plan that has you take laxatives for ten days sounds really stupid. Loss of kidney function and renal failure is no joke. I wonder if they researched the product at all?

Maybe some Jodi fans should forward them the warnings about their new venture, I am sure they would not want to harm their loyal fans and followers and it sounds like anyone who does do this should at least be under a physician's care in case something goes wrong.

I want to make it clear--I did not post the above to initiate anything other than having our members and guests please become informed before putting anything non-FDA or physician approved into their bodies. This was meant as a caring gesture to those reading our forum.

I think it is a good gesture and that it would be good for someone to mention to Jodi that this product might not be a great one to endorse without making sure that people are at least under proper medical care.

Actually, I thought that in the recent golf tournament pictures that Andi and her BFF both looked like they might have been on laxatives for 10 days. I just attributed it to the Grey Goose.

I must say I side eye everyone who endorses these sorts of supplements (Sean included). There's only so far you should go for the sake of a paycheck and I draw the line at products that are dangerous to one's health. AdvoCare sounds pretty bad. Is this why Andi seems to be getting skinnier and skinnier?

. Well they are in advocare 24 challenge and looks like they are all in as what is showing .

There has to be some other product they can market and make money.

Agreed. I definitely judged Sean for doing Hydroxycut, and now I'm judging Andi/Josh. I'm sure that making that kind of money is really appealing, especially when you don't have a job and steady income, but COME ON. Don't sacrifice your integrity for a couple of bucks.

I feel the same way. I didn't like it when Sean endorsed Hydroxycut and this seems even worse. I can't imagine Josh & Andi wouldn't have done some research when they (he?) said yes unless they just bought into the sales pitch. I don't think fans should do anything except do their own research before they consider signing up. I won't even buy supplements with caffeine so it won't be me. :nervous
