Well, if you're trying to be the next bachelor, or if you're trying to extend your 15 minutes of fame, you would probably be doing all this press and trying to paint yourself as the heartbroken young man who is just looking for love.

IMO, if I was trying to just move on, I would be saying things like, "While I was heartbroken in Dominican Republic, I am grateful for the experience and am now moving on with my life back in the real world."  Enough said...

Way behind on reading but wanted to say that I'm having such a hard time thinking that he is so broken hearted or even blindsided. From the HTD to the present, Nick had no PDA with Andi at all. His hands were in his pockets when he told her he loved her for crying out loud! Also I wouldn't be surprised if he read that book during FD date just to have something to do. He just came across to me as someone playing a game and didn't win.

So glad to see this wonderful couple out and about doing every day things.

Andi, right before Josh proposed, you told him you had loved him from the second you laid eyes on him. So looking back on the whole season, do you feel like the whole process was a little bit of a formality, like you had to get rid of everyone else just to get to Josh at the end?

Andi Dorfman: You know, not really a formality, because here's the thing -- and this is what I told Josh -- in hindsight, I realized that it was love at first sight.

But in the moment, I just had this feeling and it really took every single Rose Ceremony and every single relationship and every date to kind of put a finger on what that feeling was. And that's what I told him in the proposal, is, I didn't know until the very end that it was love and that it was love the whole time.

I just love how brutally honest this bold part is - and how sweet but also how Andi truly gave herself to all of her relationships (too much so in Nick's case imo). That really should give comfort to each of the guys hearts she broke imo. But also to Josh. She exhausted all possible options and outcomes in true lawyerish fashion and she couldn't be more sure of her choice now! :cutesmile!:

I agree and it is in keeping with what she said to her sister during the MTP segment when Andi told Rachel "I always knew there was a feeling (with Josh) and I totally fought it" and then added "there’s always that part of me who wonders if it’s too good to be true and I think I will continue to think that until the very end." And indeed it took her almost to the very end to figure out that the skeptical part of her was the part of her who was so afraid to lean in and trust in it.

On a different note, can someone tell me what it is that Andi says after he has put the ring on her finger, she says that she is shaking and as he hugs her she says I'm so happy that - can't understand what comes next.

Thank you. I thought I heard the word cry and I was afraid she had something to the effect that she was so happy that he had not cried. I had the sense that they had talked about it in advance because I saw them both taking deep breaths at different times and Andi prompted him to breathe before he got started. I personally love it when the guy is able to express his vulnerability as Josh did in his ITM's as he walking to meet Andi.

Agree, what I've said many times is they really bring out the best in each other.  You are so right.  Once he told her he loved her he couldn't say it enough.  He was all in and I loved every minute of it.


Honestly Josh's PIs right before he was going to propose was one of my favorite moments of the whole night.  It reminded me of when he told his mother he was falling in love and she said she wanted this for him. It's right up there in favorite moments of the season for me.  I still think my favorite moment is a simple one.  When she wiped away his tear when he saw his family at the HTD.  I just love when a manly man is not afraid to show emotions towards and around the woman/people he loves.
