Andi found it not tasteful but says it doesn't negate her relationship with him.

But I respect his right to say that. After all, Andi is his fiancee and he has to stand by her.
I am not too worry about negative publicity on Nick. People have short term memory. They are ready to hate the next villain the moment the next reality show is on.

Yeah - well it's interesting that Jilliam seems describes her connection with Nick as only sexual when we got to see way deeper conversations between Nick and Andi and Andi herself described it as a "mental" one.

To me last night was just about the cruelest finale I have ever seen.  Jason and Melissa was not even close, nor Brad and his debacles.  
On one hand, TPTB got just what they wanted, PR and plenty of it.  On the other hand I have to really wonder about the true professionalism of the so called Psychologists who supposedly meet with the contestants and are there for their well being.  I would venture that a HS girl could clearly read that Nick was in love and still hurting quite badly last night. IMHO, they did not do a good job either casting or counseling him at all. He clearly had some previous problems after a break up, so why would a decent psychologist venture to clear him for the role?  Everyone always wants to know when did you "know" and the reason is just what you saw last night, no one likes to be made a fool of.  Put differently, if you knew it was not me why did you toy with me and lead me on?  Simple answer, because that is what this show does.  
I seriously wonder if Chris was not on the radar for the bachelor already, would the psychologists have seen this vulnerability and made her eliminate Nick at final 3 instead of Chris?  Really sad.
As for Andi, all I can say is, I would imagine any girl who has stood in that position and been handed a ring is dying to know what it looks like, but her love of and for the guy is really the first and most important thing.  Not so with her, I recall no one else that reacted to the ring the way she did.  She is really a piece of work.  Sorry, Hy and Patti, you raise a shallow, self absorbed individual.  Good luck to the both of them.
