I didn't watch last night after reading this board but I watched that clip. Nick looks so FINE!!!!!! Andi, not so much!
I felt so so so bad for him. Clearly he was hurt, his emotions so real and raw. He struggled before he asked why you made love to me, so he didn't do it to sl$t slammed her (even though I think she deserved it....Sorry!! Stay Classy, SDmom). Poor boy was so confused and in needs of closures, from Andi and from this show. Now he got it and it will be easier for him to move on.
It's good to see him went out with Brian, Chris and 2 female producers last night. I wonder what the producers feel about Andi?

One of the theories that have helped me in life is the dodged bullet theory.
When something bad happens, I thank god for it. I thank god for whatever didn't happen which would have made whatever bullet I dodged a thousand times worse. 
This is not always easy, in fact many times it's been so hard all I can do is catch my breath and get through the next minute. 
Nick really will be fine. He has so many good things in life, this was just a blip on the road of better things to come.

ITA....he dodged a bullet... think about it, Andi is not the type of person I want Nick to be with. There was a description of her on one of these threads, I think she said it describing her"a diva that plays mind games" not very appealing.

A side note... why shouldn't Nick bring up the fact that they had sex.... it was a piece of this whole thing that made her decision hard to understand... confused him, that he questioned. When else would he have an opportunity to address it. It shows her true colors, people should know what she did. And was she shameful? No, she was mad he brought it up and THEN had then had to say HE was hitting below  the belt. OMG I don't have words to describe how much I dislike this woman!!!! Oh yea, JMO. 

I so agree! We all heard that he tried to contact her multiple times while the season was airing. He clearly wanted to gain closure. Instead he had to watch the season play out each week and see her reassure him every step of the way. With the ATFR being his only forum to finally have that discussion and gain closure, he did what he needed to do. And, I have no issue with that.

She knows she was wrong. It was less than a week before the FRC, she KNEW she was picking Josh, she knew Nick loved her dearly. Sorry Meandi, you gotta own up to that one.

I'd still pay money to see a video of the reaction of everyone at the Murray viewing party!!!

She can't own up to anything! So because of that, everyone is talking about the fact that she had sex with Nick instead of her engagement to Josh.

^^^This....and to make it worse ABC now has this convo as the featured clip on the bachelorette home page.....happy couple clip to the side. Wow....thanks ABC....but not surprised..  

She handled Nick just like she handled Eric and it backfired. Her ADA/mind gaming playing skills didn't work so well on live TV with Nick......darn....I said I wasn't going to talk about her and I'm already doing it!!...   Well that didn't last long.

Which is exactly why you should have "talked all night" like JPG did to you.   

We have come to know the real Nick early on. Whatever his motives were to kiss and tell, which I believe were producer driven, and as per Nikki's tweet,  Andi was just as much to blame IMO. It takes two to tango.

As much as I don't want him to be TB, I also do want to see him carry this show. I think he would set an example for future bachelors on how to follow the rules, and yet do it in a sincere manner. He's that type of guy.

I decided that I just could not watch the FRC and AFTR last night, so I recorded them instead.  I came here today to read this thread, wanting to decide whether or not I should watch it or delete it.  I was surprised, but pleased, to be able to read what transpired on the show, within the safe confines of the Nick Fan thread.  I have decided that I need to watch it.

And Nick's face in the above picture says it all.  He must feel a huge amount of relief to have that very uncomfortable meeting and very public conversation with Andi behind him.  His smile says it all.  Free At Last.

I also believe that Nick saw the "real Andi" last night, the very same Andi that Eric caught a glimpse of very early on.  Eric was a very perceptive person!!  Andi does not like to be confronted.  She becomes combative, defensive, angry, and mean.  I think that when Nick has had enough time to get past the hurt and embarrassment of having all of this play out on national television, he will know with complete certainty that Andi was not the person that he thought she was.  The truth will set him free.

You know after I realized before the finale that the spoilers were correct, I was more than willing to give MeAndi a pass of letting Nick go.  I figured the heart wants what the heart wants.  But after watching her behavior on both the finale and the ATFR, I realized more than ever, what a self-centered brat she really is IMO.   So happy that in this case, the spoilers were correct.

You know I've chuckled at some of her MeAndi moments throughout the season, but I still liked her overall.  However, that changed last night.  My brain is having a hard time processing why she was more upset letting Chris, Marcus, and Cody go.  When she let Nick go, its like she had her guard up before she even knocked on his door, that she was ready for conflict, rather than being genuinely sorry to cause him pain.  I know I asked the same question a lot last night: Why did she have this underlying anger toward him (pre AFTR)?
I also still haven't decided if she truly was acting the whole time, including the ITM comments of their connection vs. she loved the affection and validation he gave her so enjoyed as long as she could (why else would she sleep w him?).  My insight is usually pretty good (at least my friends and colleagues think so, HaHa) so I must say I'm a bit shaken if she was only acting, like how did I miss that?  Okay, I've vented, enough of MeAndI....  back to all things looking good for Nick!      He's going to have many options of women now.  Stay smart Nick and pick a worthy woman.
