My take on what Andi was trying to communicate to Josh during the beginning of the proposal was that it took the whole season, it's ups and downs, possibly her relationship with Nick, for her to realize that she actually was in love with Josh from the start.  In other words, she really didn't know, or maybe let herself know, that she loved him until that morning, after everything had played out and at that point she realized she had loved him all along.
Not to justify her sleeping with both, but I really think (at least in her mind in those moments) that at the time she did it, she still was trying to give this "different" connection she had with Nick a chance and I guess, in her world, sleeping with him would give her clarity. She hadn't let herself totally believe that she loved Josh yet. Not my cup of tea, but I think it's what's she needed to be sure.

I agree, good post! I know Josh was literally sweating bullets the longer she talked (precious guy!) but in the end it was worth it.  She finally exhaled and just let herself know and feel with confidence that she truly was in love with him.  When she was again wiping sweat from his brow, he was so cute when he told her that she was scaring him and he was thinking, WHAT is GOING ON!"  He was spot on his proposal when he said no man could make her laugh like he could.  That was always one of the things that I looked at as a big plus in favor of their relationship.  Josh's entire proposal was beautiful! And Andi saying she was madly in love with him and that she loved saying I love you to him made me smile.

LOL, I dunno it must be just me.....  Andi sleeping with Nick doesn't take any joy I feel for Josh and Andi it's not like they were dating exclusively an Andi cheated she was in a relationship with Nick also,  95% of these lead sleep with their F3, F2 and F1 you know it is what it is, I don't see how any of you can be surprised that TPTB did this, once the season is over they don't care about the couple they have gotten what the want....  I am 100% behind Josh and Andi this is the start of their relationship and I believe that those 2 will make it.....

That is exactly how I feel.  It was a classless move by Nick, IMO.

I just finished watching the show and JK, and reading through this thread. I feel a little confused and disappointed, and it wasn't how I was expecting to feel.

I know this is a show first and foremost, but we still wanted the happy ending. We did get that, but with a lot of other stuff thrown our way.

I was thinking about Josh, and how wonderful he is, and how he said Andi has been honest with him. And after watching the ATFR I do believe she was intimate with Nick, she didn't deny it, said it was below the belt and should have been kept behind closed doors. I think if it was a lie, she would have slipped a curse word in there like..."What the bleep are you talking about?" But that didn't happen. So it leads me to believe she was intimate with him.

Then I started thinking about the conversation she must have had with Josh. And no matter how wonderful and understanding he is about the process, it must have really hurt him to know at that point, she had been with someone else. Because no matter the situation, you don't have to be intimate with anyone, look at Sean. His season was my favorite until this one came along, and then I loved them both equally. But now Andi's actions have saddened me because I feel like Josh didn't deserve that.

I go back to the proposal. I feel like she dragged out her feelings for him in that proposal, and he even said he got worried. It took her a long time leading up to saying she loved him. Once she said it, it was great, but was that producer driven or her idea? I thought it took away from the moment, especially when he had been so open with her. I was surprised that nobody else commented on it.

I have loved Andi all season, but tonight, I don't know. I feel like she did lead Nick on, although he went way too far with trying to contact her over and over again, and then dropping that comment on the ATFR.

I also wonder how we would all feel if it was reversed and she had been intimate with Josh, knowing how in love he was, and then dumped him. He would have been devastated and shocked as well.

I know this is part of this show, but not everybody reacts the same way to a situation. I guess I don't understand how she can tell Josh she loved him the first moment she saw him, tell Nick she never was in love with him, but yet still be intimate with Nick. I'm sure she regrets that now, and hopefully they can put it behind them because they seem really happy together.

I know Josh realizes that their relationship became exclusive at the proposal, and he seems okay with everything that has happened. But I still feel like tonight put a damper on the whole season for me, and I didn't get my fairytale ending.

I still love them together, I really do. I hope everything works out for them in the future. But I just feel sad at the way things unfolded tonight. Maybe as we get more interviews, I will feel better about things.

This is exactly what Fleiss and company were going for, don't give it to them. He always wants the basest moments he/they can create. Don't know why this mattered so much to producers or what they wanted to accomplish, but, I've watched since Trista and I may well stop. I'll just follow the happy couples after the fact.

Like she said it took her 10 weeks (OK we know really 8) so why rush it now.

I have only had 3 hours sleep. Got up to make my husband breakfast and send him off to work and thought I'll go back to bed. But no way. I came on her and well, you all know how it goes.

For some reason (can't imagine why) don't think CH likes Josh. I just saw an interview (before finale) where CH is asked if he thinks Andi made the right choice. His reply was, I think she'll be pleased with it. WTH!

Even last night with the Andi/Nick conversation I saw Andi look over at CH a couple times almost pleading CH to stop this. And it was CH IMO who kept it going. CH is the one that asked Andi if she was ever in love with Nick.

He was also asked if the wedding would be televised. CH said that they like to televise all the bach weddings because the fans are so invested in them that they deserve to see the wedding. He said that Des was up next and they will probably work out something to bring us Andi's.

This brings me to my next thought. After what the TPTB did to Andi last night she may not want anything to do with them providing a wedding for her and Josh. And I know this is wayyyy too early but if they won't do that I wonder if MM would be up to having it video taped and let us purchase copies of it. That way maybe we would also get some of the reception. She could send the $ to charity. That way we can still see their big day.

At the appropriate time I wonder if someone could suggest that to her, possibly Sophinette.

I know we all like to blame the producers for everything we don't like on this show but,  Ick is an adult who allegedly has a brain.  He didn't have to say a thing about what happened behind closed doors.  Seeing that is was a live show TPTB really had no control over what Ick said or didn't say.  Also, Ick didn't need TPTB to tell him Andi was in Mexico.  Heck, we figured it out, no reason to think Nick couldn't.

I love that Andi and Josh aren't giving him another thought.  Like MM said, Andi and Josh's future started when he put the ring on her finger.
