It can be exhausting at times for sure. I think it's because we are just not use to it from being over here during the season. I really loved it over here this year, and my spoiled experience is making me really think if I want to be spoiled or not next year. Like I said it will really depend on TB.

That's a valid point which I totally agree with. This is why I like to look at it as, stating opinions, rather than trying to prove anybody right or wrong. yes

You have all set quite the example in this thread. It looks like there may be a few more joining the Non Spoiled threads next season! :yes:

Now you all can see why I kept coming in during the season saying it was so peaceful here and I just loved it.

I have to say I agree and I would have had a lot more fun reading and posting here last season had I only discovered what was really going on here sooner.

I don't think the difference is the presence or absence of spoilers per se but rather that the focus here seemed to be on trying to figure out what the lead would do (had done) and how the show would end. What causes most problems is when posters become such fans of a contestant that they start trying to argue that the lead will (has) chosen a poster's favorite instead of the lead's favorite, self actualizing the poster's preference.

It's actually OK to be a fan to but you have to be able to accept that the one you like might not be the one the lead likes.

I think fans on both sides can be guilty of projecting. It's hard because not only do we have biases but we're also watching a highly edited show. The biggest difference in my mind between this side and the non-spoiled side is that there's less interest in sleuthing once the spoilers are made known. Even still there is some but this particular season was difficult because of the lack of previews for so long.

I tried to stay here last season although as a mod it's difficult to stay unspoiled. I'm not sure I'll ever be truly unspoiled but think this section will grow as people become aware about your great posts & sleuthing. yes

None of them had him making it to F2 in my scenarios. I just couldn't get it in Andi's head to get rid of him. rotfl

Also agree with what Lucas said. I really tried to keep an open mind just in case Andi decided to pick Nick however I really saw too many clues that it was Josh post filming. The biggest one I held onto were those ribbons. I never believed the plane video was a foiler either but I did just put that aside in my thinking. When I came here and read all of your posts it just reaffirmed for me that what you saw I saw also without the after clues.

Me too, I loved coming to the unspoiled side to read what was posted, I found it peaceful and relaxing.... Lucas I agree the projection of who the leads wants just because that person is your favorite is amazing to me, that's why all season long when posters would say it was Nick, Marcus or Chris who was F1, I would always question what clues post filming points to them vs the tv edit... Hopefully next season we as a whole will be able to separate who we are a fan of for ourselves vs who the lead wants... I know it's wishful thinking, but a girl can wish...

: !! Although I have been out of pocket and not able to post, I was able to catch the very end of the proposal and the ATFR. I have tried keeping up with some of the threads and therefore, my thoughts are not spontaneous and are somewhat colored by what I’ve been reading. I finally had a chance to watch the finale this morning and to write down some of my thoughts. But first, I want to give my thoughts on how Andi went into this season and go ahead and tackle the elephant in the room—did she string Nick along or did she really care about him?!?

IMO--- Andi took full advantage of the opportunity presented with the show. When she went on dates, she went on dates and did not think about the other guys. I think that she was able to segment her relationships with each individual guy better than any b’ette has in the past. I DO think that she had true feelings for Nick. I think that it finally hit her that after LCDs, she was going to have to start putting on the brakes and break up with one of these guys. This being said, all season I have seen the most connection with Josh but I do think that when she had to compare the 2 loves, she had to admit that her love for Josh was stronger and more confident than her love was for Nick.

Nick’s MTP:

Nick in his ITM’s seemed very quiet and more intimidated than he had throughout the season. Knowing now how the season ends, I think in the back of his mind he knew something was up; I at least have to wonder if this was the case. It was interesting that Andi’s mom and dad picked up on his nervousness (and chalked it up to being nervous as opposed to him not caring for Andi or thinking that his personality was lackadaisical.) After speaking with him they could see that his feelings were there. Listening to Andi discuss her relationship with Rachel, you can tell that her feelings were sincere.

Josh’s MTP:

Cute that Andi made apologies for Josh being nervous. I also picked up on Andi’s attitude was a little more “up” during Josh’s time. I do think that she has always given her relationship with Josh a little more of an edge; she seems to want the relationship more. Josh is the one that she anticipated and hoped that he would say he loved her. Their relationship has been tested (more so than with Nick) and I think that they have developed a good foundation of communication. Josh seemed very comfortable with the family.

Josh’s LCD:

The BL that these 2 have is over the top. Andi says he makes her feel giddy and gives her butterflies—you can tell they have fun together. There isn’t much that stands out as I still see the relationship strong and growing. There are no red flags that jump out at me. The evening portion was sweet, their conversation showed that they are comfortable with each other and know little things about each other. TPTB sure did have Andi beat a dead horse with the “too good to be true” angle! The baseball card segment was sweet! As Andi was speaking about it you could see the love In her eyes.

Nick’s LCD:

Nick’s ITM’s still seem very guarded and insecure—I have to think that he knew on some level that there was a possibility that it won’t be him in the end. As I mentioned above, I think that Andi approached her relationship with Nick fully without thinking about the relationship that she has with Josh. Because of that, she is able to not hold back in exploring the relationship she may have with Nick. I do (and have throughout the season) seen the relationship and chemistry that Nick and Andi have—I just see the relationship being not as full as the relationship with Josh is. I definitely see her holding back some and I am not sure why she says “it’s going to be ok”. I’m wondering if her telling him that one should be confident at this point is her trying to let him know that if he is still nervous (and not confident) about it, then maybe it isn’t what he thinks. no idea

I think it is possible that Andi only started thinking about having 1 relationship right before she went to let Nick go. Was she trying to lead someone on? No, I don’t think so. I think she wanted to give the relationship everything she could up until the very end and then, she didn’t want to have Nick go through the motions of picking out the ring and getting dressed to possibly propose, etc… Once Andi came into the room, you could see Nick holding his breath and not being able to breathe so I think he was totally caught off guard. Should he have been? No, he should have been able to see the cues and realize them for what they were but throughout the season, we have seen examples of him not getting social cues so it is understandable that he was blindsided. I wish for Nick’s sake that he hadn’t divulged his FS info…if only because it sets him up for ridicule as much as it does Andi—it was a lose/lose. Is it how I would have done it…no, I would have held a little back (probably for both of the guys). I definitely wouldn’t have done “fiancé” type things until I was 100% certain but— I guess I’m old fashioned like that.

I do think Josh and Andi have the better relationship and I wish them the very best! The proposal was sweet and although I got a “lift”, it wasn’t quite a twirl!! I look forward to seeing where life takes them! SURELY, we will be seeing their wedding sooner rather than later! giggling
