I guess it just the progressing of the times, people can either embrace it or not.... I personally don't think we will be getting a season as spoiled as this one because the Nick video is one in a million.... But the SM clues YEP, those are here to stay..... It will just be up to the sleuthers to be objective and not go by the edit because they are throwing the baby out with the bath water as far as edit goes....

I'm sorry, but associating with someone like Kelly, now that's yuck to me! I'm only basing this off of her SM posts. I don't know her personally, so I don't know what she's really like, but some of her posts are disgusting.

I think jlccaz and I both addressed this somewhere. It wasn't violated. He had no rights because of the (very) public place he chose to have his conversation. I think that's not only a legal distinction but also a common sense one and I think Nick knows it - now.

In many states, it is illegal to record someone's voice without their consent. There are also federal wiretapping laws. In my state the wiretapping law is a "two-party consent" law. Basically, it is a crime to record a private telephone call, in-person conversation, or electronic communication unless all parties to the communication consent. Factually, there would be arguments made both ways as to whether or not Nick had an expectation of privacy on that plane and whether or not it was truly a "private" call. I'm only writing this to tell you that yes, there could be an issue with recording someone without their permission.

On another note, I will never believe that this recording was just serendipity. RS was sued by MF and they have been bitter enemies (if one believes what one reads). RS's future career in this business of spoiling reality shows depended on him being right this season. I think he simply sent his minion to the DR to see who left first of the last two men, that is evidence stronger than anything when one is sent home early. Then, the minion happened to be sitting behind Nick and Nick made the mistake of letting it all hang out, so that was a little gold nugget that he gave due to his total lack of forethought. I'm sure he regrets it. But there is no way this was just some long lost love of RS who sat behind Nick and heard him talking. That is my opinion only. It was RS's story behind the video that made me think it was foiler. Knowing now it was real, I think RS sent someone to investigate, to see what they could find, and they found much more than they ever expected. But, RS would not ever tell us that if so.

I think a bit of conversation from another thead could be germane to the Nick thread.

It's been reported that Nick watched all of the previous seasons of the franchise. I'm sure that after that with his analytical mind he believed he knew how the show works and how the process works. But he was missing one crucial piece of information that he would not know from watching the show. And that is shown in the combination of the following two posts - one initially made by me and then quoited for emphasis by Kasha. My post referenced Ashley's season and what happened at the very end of it:

I am going to borrow what Lucas said above and repeat it again, because in my opinion not only is is so spot on (I heard likewise from reliable) it is something that most likely happened this past season. Thanks, Lucas!

"They stymied her plan to take Dino to F2 (which is what she planned to do and had talked to Dino about until the show found out and made Dino bow out) and that's how she got into such a corner at the end. She told them to make sure Ben knew she wasn't going to pick him and they told her it was all taken care of. They lied to her - it wasn't taken care of - and they lied to Ben who thought she wanted a proposal and was going to accept. That in and of itself is more than enough to explain why Ben was so angry."

The key piece of information that Nick was missing; that he could not have known from watching the show but only from knowing what happens "behind the curtain"; is that the producers will lie to anybody they have to lie to in order to get drama. And if someone ever went on the show that knew how they lie, they either would never get on in the first place or they would go home so fast they'd never get their socks out of their suitcase and into a sock drawer. The manipulation and lies only work on people who don't know they are being manipulated and lied to.

I happen to agree with Kasha's statement that most likely this happened this season and it's not very hard for me to figure out places where a tactically told lie from the producers could have created most of the drama of this season.

It seems that Nick has moved on Josh and Andi have moved on but some of the Jodi fans have not. If you do not like a person then why do you care so much what they do. I am not a Andi fan but do wish her and Josh luck in the future but i will not follow them or bash them.

Sorry I'm a Nick Fan and I do not think every one of Nicks bad behaviors are Andi's fault. Honestly though I wish Nick did not talk about the fantasy suite and I wish Andi had more compassion but alas they obviously both weren't perfect. It seems Andi's demeanor really helped give Nick closure, it seems Andi and Josh are happy and ready to start normal life. I've moved on they have so let's all move onto this train wreck that is BIP :cutesmile!:

I agree with you I misread their post . I am also a Nick fan think he was one of the best bachelors this show has had. I will go edit my post because after I though about it i knew it was another bash toward Nick. I just do not understand the hatred towards him.
